Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap actor recently stood up for his costar. DOOL viewers know Lamon Archey as Eli Grant and Sal Stowers as Lani Price in Salem. Archey and Stowers are always eager to engage with supportive fans on social media. They provide plenty of behind-the-scenes content, especially since they’re just wrapping up “Elani” appreciation week.
Unfortunately, one Days of Our Lives watcher wasn’t feeling so appreciative. She attacked Stowers with a mean tweet, so Archey fired back in his costar’s defense. This isn’t the first time Archey’s stood up to social media bullies. He’s good friends with Stowers in real life, so he certainly wasn’t going to stand by and let her face hate.
After Archey defended Stowers, she offered a response of her own. “You can’t meet negative energy where it is,” Stowers tweeted. “You have to rise above it, You have to transcend it. You have to be the light. It only takes a little bit of light to banish the darkness … so I would never stoop to try to meet somebody where they are negative.”
Stowers continued her statement in another tweet and noted that the quote was from Oprah. Once she was finished, Stowers wanted to give a shout-out to Archey for rushing to her defense. She’s grateful to have a sweet guy like him in her corner. Stowers said, “I choose Love, I choose Light. Thank you @LamonArchey for standing up for me and all my #Elani lovers. Xoxo”
It didn’t take long for Days watchers to chime in on this. “You always handle everything with grace and class,” one fans said. Another DOOL viewer tweeted, “A class act. So much respect and love for you.” One more fan suggested Stowers had a great friend and costar who’s got her back. Stowers replied, “I sure do! He’s the best.”
It’s nice to see costars supporting each other and maintaining solid working relationships. As for what’s next in Salem, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli and Lani will do some wedding prep.
