General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is poised to make a shocking discovery. In fact, Ava should make a couple of those as GH builds toward the moment we’ve all been waiting for. She’s engaged to her daughter’s killer, so everyone’s eager to see when, where and how Ava will find out.
Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) murder was a devastating blow for Ava, but she found a lifeline to carry her through the darkness. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) aka “Dr. Kevin Collins” accepted Ava for who she is and loved her on a deep level that she’s never known before. Naturally, all that’s going to crumble when Ava realizes “Kevin” is actually Ryan – the man who brutally stabbed Kiki to death.
It looks like Ava will indeed discover the truth soon. General Hospital spoilers say Ava will head to Niagara Falls with Ryan during the week of March 4-8. They’ll plan to elope, but Ava won’t know that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been kidnapped and hidden in the trunk. However, it’s doubtful Ryan can keep Carly a secret for long. Her muffled cries might tip Ava off to trouble eventually.
That’s especially true if there’s an accident or car trouble along the way. It’s worth mentioning that Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) are all headed to Niagara Falls, too. They may have some sort of dangerous run-in with Ryan or at least his car.
Whatever the case, there’s bound to be some reason Ava grows suspicious. Other General Hospital spoilers for the week of March 4-8 point to a meltdown for Ava. She’ll exhibit some messy emotions and ultimately have a heated confrontation with someone. Will that be Ryan? If Ava finds Carly in the trunk, she’ll surely unleash her wrath on “Kevin” and demand an explanation.
Ryan may think kidnapped Carly is some sort of twisted wedding gift for Ava. He had a fantasy about letting Ava punish Carly as a Valentine’s Day present. Maybe he’ll try to bring that fantasy to life and hope that Ava’s dark side can become stronger.
Since Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) got away, Ryan might realize that the jig will be up soon. He may hope he can use Carly to make a pitch for becoming a sinister power couple. Ryan would love nothing more than to live happily ever after with Ava, but he needs her to be the evil woman he believes is within her.
Of course, Ava is nowhere near as deranged and revolting as Ryan. She hates Carly, but she won’t be on board with killing her – especially not when Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) cares about her stepmom so much. It appears Ava may be the one to step up and save Carly, which would be fun since they’re such fierce enemies.
Maybe Carly will even return the favor by teaming up with Ava once she’s free. They could become a surprising alliance as this storyline reaches its climax.
