General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a new blind item could generate some excitement. Soap Opera Digest released this teaser, which could be about any of the four main daytime dramas. It turns out one show is ready to bring back a fan favorite. Could GH be the soap poised for a popular return?
Now would be a good time for General Hospital to let another beloved character make a comeback. They recently put Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) in the mix again, which was a nice start. However, some GH fans are weary from the Dawn of Day mayhem and the lengthy baby swap storyline. It’d be in the show’s best interest to keep viewers excited and interested with big returns.
General Hospital recently announced that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) was headed back to Port Charles. Since Jax is back and Hayden’s coming as well, perhaps GH will build on this pattern. Any well-liked star or character would be welcomed back with open arms.
The blind item talks about a fan fave, which seemingly points to a familiar actor in the role but not necessarily. A character can be a fan favorite regardless of the actor playing him or her. Still, we’d say this sounds like one soap is bringing back the real deal.
If that’s the case for General Hospital, who could be next on the comeback list? Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Casadine) might be an option based on a recent tweet. He had a fun and somewhat cryptic response to the news about Rebecca Budig’s return. Christopher tweeted, “Way to go girl! Careful looking around Wyndemere. Never know what you may find.”
It’s possible Christopher was just wishing for a GH comeback, but it’s also possible there’s more to it. If Christopher has been contacted about a return, that might be the kind of thing he would tweet. General Hospital spoilers say there would certainly be a place for Nikolas on canvas. He was a great character that many fans enjoyed during his time at the ABC soap.
