General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) has a hidden talent. She showed off an interesting skill when she shared some big news recently. Most GH viewers probably know Monaco once won Dancing With the Stars, but she didn’t just walk away with a mirror ball trophy. Monaco found a close friend in Cheryl Burke, a professional dancer on DWTS, as well.
As a result, Burke invited Monaco to attend her wedding shower. Monaco gladly attended the fun celebration, which was hosted by maid-of-honor Leah Remini. Since Remini was also a contestant on Dancing With the Stars, it’s clear that Burke makes some long-lasting connections thanks to the show.
In fact, Burke’s fiancé has a DWTS link. She’s engaged to Matthew Lawrence, who hit it off with Burke after his brother appeared on the show. Joey Lawrence danced on stage while his younger bro danced his way into Burke’s heart.
That’s a sweet story, but let’s shift gears and talk about that hidden talent we mentioned. Along with the other bridal shower guests, Monaco participated in a crazy dress-making challenge. The material for these intriguing gowns was…toilet paper. Yes, toilet paper! The ladies formed some fabulous fashions out of this everyday household item, so it was really something to see.
Monaco seems to have a knack for it. She was thrilled to give this funny task a shot, so she posted a cute photo and caption on Instagram. “Honored to have been a part of @cherylburke ‘s wedding shower,” Monaco said. “Making toilet paper dresses had me laughing so hard it hurt. Thank you @leahremini for being such a great host.”
