General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the walls are closing in on Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) is blackmailing Peter, so the pressure is definitely rising. How far will Peter go to salvage his relationship with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms)?
Will Peter Propose to Maxie?
GH fans know Peter has already declared his love for Maxie. Peter realizes if the truth comes out, he’ll inevitably lose her. Will Peter propose to Maxie and attempt to make their bond even stronger? Peter might think Maxie would stand by him with an engagement to back him up.
Maxie loves Peter, but it’s doubtful she’ll support Peter helping Shiloh under any circumstances. Maxie will certainly break things off with Peter when she learns he’s involved with Shiloh. However, that may not stop Peter from taking this proposal route.
Could Peter and Maxie Elope?
General Hospital fans know Peter’s got a dark side. There have been plenty of shady moments along the way. Peter helped Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) through this whole brain-mapping mess. He also worked with Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), so that’s another strike against him.
Peter held Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) hostage for five years, orchestrated his father’s death and got his brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), killed. Of course, Peter is also the reason Drew Cain (Billy Miller) is missing. He’s responsible for Andre Maddox’s (Anthony Montgomery) stabbing as well, so his offenses keep piling up.
Could Peter and Maxie elope before the truth is discovered? Peter could then come clean to Maxie, and she wouldn’t have to testify against him. That might be a desperate plan Peter resorts to, but it’s not likely to work since Maxie would still be enraged. She’d feel even more betrayed if she was tricked into a rushed marriage.
Will Peter Kidnap Maxie?
Peter lied to make himself look good to all of Port Charles. Maxie’s family has accepted Peter in her life, and Peter has gained the trust of Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Will Peter blow all of this by kidnapping Maxie? We wouldn’t put it past him since he adores Maxie and that dark side is taking over again.
If Maxie finds out the truth, Peter could easily kidnap her to keep her quiet and score time to fix things between them. Peter has already abducted Drew and Jason, so what’s one more person? If he kidnaps Maxie, will he take James West, too? Regardless, Peter could set a trap and hope to preserve his future with Maxie.
General Hospital spoilers say Peter will sink even lower in the coming weeks. Will Peter become his evil father’s true son? Is Peter as obsessed with Maxie as Faison was with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)? How far is Peter willing to go to protect his relationship with Maxie?
