General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) promise will come back to haunt her. GH fans know Sasha’s currently in a desperate fight for her life. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) offered to contact any family Sasha might have out there. She suggested it seemed like Michael was writing her off, but he assured Sasha that wasn’t the case.
However, that conversation reinforced a suspicious pattern for Michael. Anytime he brings up Sasha’s past or background, she immediately deflects or clams up. Michael can tell Sasha’s got some secrets; he just has no idea how explosive they could be! Since Sasha’s facing this deadly illness, she seemingly made a bit of a bargain. Sasha vowed to tell Michael everything once this was all over, even if he was going to hate it.
Of course, Sasha has no way of knowing if she’ll pull through or not. Deep down, Sasha wants to be honest with Michael and let him see the real her. It’s almost like she’s giving herself the motivation or perhaps looking for a sign that she should really come clean. Sasha may think if she gets through this, that’ll be the green light she needs to spill all.
The good news is Sasha will indeed survive. The bad news is Sasha will be forced to provide some answers. General Hospital spoilers say a celebration is coming up on September 12. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will all have a reason to rejoice. They obviously wouldn’t be partying if Sasha were six feet under, so that means she’s going to make it.
It’s possible Sasha will fall back on old habits and keep the lie going strong. She seems poised to do that with Nina for a while, but what about Michael? Will Sasha keep her promise? Sasha has been genuinely fearful and has grown much closer to Michael throughout this experience. She admitted the more she gets to know him, the more afraid she is of losing him.
Even so, Sasha has been pretty heartbreaking throughout all this. Suffering this nightmare has affected her a great deal, so it’s easy to imagine Sasha sticking to her plan. She may decide to make a full confession to Michael and hope he’ll understand that she never wanted to hurt Nina. In fact, that’s the main reason Sasha is still keeping her mouth shut. The truth about the fake daughter scheme could destroy Nina’s world.
As for Michael, General Hospital spoilers hint he’ll have to decide the fate of their relationship. Will Michael determine that Sasha’s suffered enough? Would he be cold enough to turn his back on her after such a terrible ordeal? We’ll give you updates as other GH details emerge.
