General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, October 23 Update – Troubled Danny Needs Jason – Martin Kills Cam’s Franco Story

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 23, teases that Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will fight hard for “Drew Cain” in court. He’ll contend that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) doesn’t exist anymore and hope the judge sees things his way. Of course, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will have a long line of people waiting to insist Martin’s wrong.

Scott will make the case that Franco is still Franco, even if he can’t remember who he is. He’ll insist that Franco can’t make decisions for himself in this state. That’s why Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) wants to make the choice for him. General Hospital spoilers say Liz will get choked up when she takes the stand. She’ll open up about her deep love for Franco and her desire to get her husband back.

Naturally, Liz’s happiness would bring great pain for Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). Martin may suggest Kim doesn’t deserve to have “Drew” ripped away from her. Liz won’t deny that Kim would suffer, but what about Liz’s suffering? Someone’s going to be heartbroken either way, and it really shouldn’t be Franco’s wife. The man in front of them has Franco’s DNA, so that’s something Scott will remind the judge of.

Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will also do his part by sharing what happened with Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Dr. Arthur Cabot (Time Winters. He’ll indicate that if Franco hadn’t come to his rescue, he’d be the one stuck with Drew’s memories. Scott will use Cam to play Franco up as a hero, but the case will eventually hit a speed bump.

Cameron was drugged in preparation for the memory procedure, which concerned Scott during trial prep. He doesn’t want Cam to lie, but he doesn’t want him to voluntarily offer that info either. Martin will likely bring it up anyway, so that could damage Cameron’s credibility. His story about Franco vowing to come back to Liz may be doubted.

Nevertheless, Scott will press on! He’ll get some help from Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), who’ll insist that Franco’s truly a hero. No one has forgotten Franco’s troubling history, but that doesn’t negate the good he’s done. Franco saved countless lives by helping the PCPD solve the serial killer mystery, which led to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) being incarcerated.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) shocker will come into play eventually. He passed along some surprising ammunition involving Kim, so Scott will lower the boom later this week. In the meantime, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will talk to Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) about any challenges that are still ahead. She’ll feel confident she can tackle anything, especially if she’s got Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and her family backing her up.

Speaking of the fam, they’ll all welcome Donna Corinthos home on Wednesday. Everyone will gush over the new little one. Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) will be especially thrilled to meet her baby sister.

Moving from a sweet family moment to a potentially upsetting one, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will notice a difference in Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). GH fans know Joss wasn’t quite herself at school. Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) warned that Josslyn should probably keep her journaling time in check. He doesn’t want Joss pulling away from her friends and isolating herself.

Afterward, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) picked up on Joss’ lack of sympathy. Josslyn would normally cheer up a pal in need, but she wasn’t very responsive to Cameron. Trina dished out some tough love and basically accused Josslyn of being selfish. It’s not a solid friendship if you only take support and never give it out.

Will Josslyn remain standoffish on Wednesday? Could that be what Michael notices? That’s certainly a possibility to consider. It’s also possible Joss will listen to Trina and make more of an effort. Either way, Michael will observe a change in his sister and most likely talk to her about it.

Next, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will strengthen his connection with Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo). Danny may worry about his mom’s current jam, but Jason will promise Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) coming home soon. He’ll feel confident he can fix Sam’s situation eventually, but the Morgan boys will have to stick together until then.

At GH, Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) suspicions will be confirmed. He was already skeptical of Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) miscarriage claims, but she just admitted her daughter is his next patient. Hayden will admit Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) is Finn’s little girl as well, so he’ll see how crucial it is to help her. They’ll definitely need to address why Hayden lied, but healing whatever ails Violet is the priority.
