Someone committed a murder. The usual suspects were back at it in front of detectives, but this time Connor lost his cool and he either had an anxiety attack or possibly a heart attack. Either way, he was panicking. He lost control in the middle of questioning and the detectives had to call an ambulance. Michaela, who was in the next room, had also started to lose it. She wanted to know what was happening with Connor and she wasn’t going to settle until she got answers which were how Michaela reacted to everything.

Michaela never let a single thing go. Rewind to before the murder, Michaela was breaking several laws by listening to Annalise’s therapy sessions and still she did it because she heard something she wasn’t supposed to. She heard that her real father was a lawyer that slept with her mother. Her real father’s name was Solomon Vick and Michaela was already cyber-stalking him. She wanted to know everything about him. She also didn’t want to share what she found with her best friends and so she was doing her best to push them away.

Michaela was so wrapped up in what she was doing that she ignored work. She had taken time away to go to a conference where her father was speaking and she took Gabriel with her because she wanted his help in getting a sample of Solomon’s DNA. She was off doing that while her friends were working a discrimination case. Some more guy was suing a dating app because he said the algorithm discriminates against people with disabilities. He was so convinced he could find love if given a chance that he promised to drop the case if they changed the algorithm.

Only no one was going to change a thing. The company’s owner had taken the stance that it didn’t matter if she changed the algorithm because no one could promise him love and so this case was borderline ridiculous. Annalise thought as much and she even said as much. She tried to convince the man to let it go because it’s not like this case could go anywhere and that’s when he brought up how she went to the Supreme Court to fight against the biasness used against Black people. He brought this up because he thought he could go to the Supreme Court as well.

Carl swore he had a case. He said he was going to fight this until the system changed and so some of his languages helped Oliver find something in Carl’s background. It turns out Carl was an incel. It stood for involuntary celibate and it was guys that claim women owed them sex. He thought it a crime when they were being deprived and they took out this misogynistic behavior out on women in general. Now, what that means for the case is that its all over. Carl was never going to find love through the app because the moment these women met him in person it would have been all over anyways.

Tegan brought this information to Carl and his lawyer. She said no court would sign off on changing an algorithm for a man that hates women and he pushed back by saying it wasn’t against the law to be an incel. Which is true. It wasn’t against the law to be an incel and yet at the same, it was against the law to discriminate a man for being an incel. Somehow Carl still had a case out of this. He was also going to pursue it because he truly believes that Heidi Turpin should bend to his will and there was nothing the company owner could do about it.

Carl was so full of himself that he demanded a company accommodates him. The fact he also got to hurt a woman in power was probably icing for him, but was he, right about the discrimination? He actually was. The dating app had a government contract for fifty million dollars and it meant the government was using it to weed out the undesirables. They let the app determine who was unemployed. They also used this against black people that were already in a rough position and would deny them housing based on what they put in their profile.

So, the app was hurting people. It didn’t mean he wasn’t bringing couples together because it was and so it had a good and bad side to it. Like any other dating app. The problem now is that Carl had a pretty good case and so the lawyers decided to tarnish him. They had Asher pretend to be an incel in order to get close to Carl. Then he offered Carl a sex tape of Heidi and it was mysteriously posted online without Heidi’s consent from Carl’s computer. The lawyers used such an opportunity to threaten Carl.

They told him they would file charges against him for his supposed crimes. They also promised to drop it if he dropped the lawsuit and Carl still refused to bend. He wanted to be the martyr. He didn’t care how he went about it and so Annalise appealed to the other part to him. She knew what it was like to be discriminated against. She lived with it her whole life as a dark-skinned black woman and so she didn’t have time for his pity party. And it was hearing her common sense that finally got through to him.

Carl dropped the lawsuit. He wasn’t going to apologize or anything. He was just going to walk away and so it was still a win. Heidi for one had wanted to celebrate, but Annalise told her she didn’t like her and that she’ll be seeing her in hell. Annalise also talked to Heidi’s personal lawyer Robert and they had a moment. Annalise was thinking about dating again. She had signed up for the app before she realized it was evil and so she was open to the possibilities. She even agreed with going out with Robert because she wanted to make sure for herself that he wasn’t with the FBI.

The same FBI that was working against her. They had reached out to Nate as a means of taking her down and so far he proves resistant. He didn’t care about helping them. All he wanted was their help in finding his father’s killer and the only information they had for him was on Tegan. Tegan apparently owned stock in Laurel Castillo’s name. There also didn’t seem to be anything else shady about her than that and so Nate turned to Bonnie for help. Bonnie was working for Tegan and so she was close enough to the woman to get information.

Tegan was completely unaware of what they were doing. She was going through her things when Bonnie talked to her about her pending divorce and Tegan realized that Bonnie had been going through her papers. She had wanted to fire Bonnie on the spot and Bonnie had talked her out of it by saying she thought Tegan was being screwed in the divorce. She said that some stock Tegan owned had gone up. She also didn’t think Tegan should share said profits with her ex when it was the ex that left her and so that’s when Tegan revealed she wanted nothing to do with the stock.

Tegan said she received stock from Jorge Castillo. She got it for services rendered and she calls it blood money now. Tegan also gave a final warning to Bonnie to stop going through her things, so she never suspected that Bonnie had only brought it up because she wanted background information. Bonnie got what she needed from Tegan and she shared it with Nate. Nate thought Tegan was lying because feds said the stock was in Laurel’s name, but he had been insistent that bonnie became suspicious.

Bonnie wanted to know if he was working with the feds and she was grilling when someone left a blood Frank on her doorstep.

Michaela meanwhile had been so blatant about stalking Solomon that he realized who she was and asked to speak with her.

They were talking while Gabriel drove over to Annalise and confronted her with what he heard on her session tapes.

THE END!
