Tonight on NBC their hit drama The Blacklist starring James Spader airs with an all-new Friday, October 18, 2019, episode and we have your The Blacklist recap below. On tonight’s The Blacklist Season 7 episode 3 called, “Les Fleurs Du Mal”, as per the NBC synopsis, “Aram goes undercover to infiltrate a secret society of wealthy thrill-seekers whose entertainment hinges upon spectacular acts of violence.
Meanwhile, Red tries to negotiate with a former associate involved in the Townsend Directive, while Katarina Rostova takes steps to insinuate herself into Liz’s life.”

We see a man in a bulletproof box is trying to disarm a bomb while people dressed black tie is watching, like spectators and there is a host walking around and tells them this is what life is. The man in the box is freaking out, he says he can’t do it, but in the last second, he thinks he does and says “I beat the game”, all the guests look disappointed. Then the bomb goes off and the guests are excited and everyone starts clapping.
Liz is home, she has a lot of bags in her hand, her new neighbor, Katerina offers to help. Liz refuses help but asks her in for coffee. They sit down, Liz says that she is a government employee, Katerina says she is retired. When Liz is turned around, Katerina makes a copy of her keys. Liz gets a call and says that she got a call and has to go, she looks for her keys and Katerina pretends to grab them off the floor, pretending that they fell down.
Liz goes to see Reddington and asks her how her grandfather is doing, he says he saw him that morning. He says he found a lead, thrill-seekers who go to great lengths as members of a society called Les Fleurs du mal, and they connect him to the women who kidnapped him in Paris. Liz updates the task force. Red has a lead, Charles Radcliff, he apparently attended one of the society’s events. Cooper tells Ressler and Aram to go speak to Radcliff. Cooper tells Liz that if she needs anything, he is there for her.
Cooper and Aram go to see Radcliff, his wife opens the door and she says they can’t hit them because the society almost killed her husband, he looks vegetative in a wheelchair. She tells them that her husband found the society, it was a gift for her. Sharing a gift that is so rare. Ressler tells her that they want her to help expose them. Meanwhile, the host of the society is already planning his next game.
Red visits Morozov, he tells him that he called repeatedly and there was no answer, so he thought he would visit him. He says he is there about the Townsend directive, it is reactivated and everyone is looking for it – he needs to take care of this personally. Morozov says he already lost millions because of him, along with his wife to his competitor. Morozov says forget about Katarina, he is going to find her and kill her himself.
Radcliff’s wife reaches out to the society, she is granted to recommending a new member, but she must go with them. Aram tells Cooper and offers to go with Radcliff.
Red has the nurse, Francesca, who saved his life on a plane, she tells him that she is supposed to be at dinner for her anniversary. Red needs a photo of Morozov with another man, she offers to get it for him and asks him that if she does, will she be free of him. He agrees. She gets her photo and hops in a car with Red, they drive off and she tells him that now they are even.
Aram meets the host with Radcliff, she tells him that the man she married is alive but her husband is gone. Aram and Mrs. Radcliff are pretending to be a couple. The host is cautious, but in the end, he welcomes Aram to Les Fleurs du mal.
Mrs. Radcliff is uncomfortable, the task force tells her they will be following them with devices and once they get to where they are going, they will come and get them.
They arrive on a yacht and are given white bracelets to wear before they are welcomed into a large room. They are offered champagne, she asks Aram why they were given the bracelets, he says he doesn’t know. Aram tries to locate a receiver under his shoe when the host comes to greet them and wishes them good luck.
Katerina sneaks into Liz’s apartment and switches one of her daughter’s Barbies for a copy that has a listening device planted inside.
At the event, the host announces that the defiance is there, he says that only one person will face the challenge. Everyone has a bracelet on, they light up. A number is randomly drawn, Mrs. Radcliff is the player – she is freaking out.
Aram is sneaking around the yacht, he has to find a way to help Mrs. Radcliff.
At the task force, they think they may have found Aram’s location. Cooper tells Ressler to scramble the choppers and get them there now.
It is time for the game at the event, Mrs. Radcliff is in a box, she has to figure out a way to get out of there and she hasn’t got much time because the box is filling up and if she doesn’t get out of there, she is going to suffocate.
Red is back to see Morozov and shows him the photo and unless he works with, he will tell everyone that he is a snitch.
Aram manages to grab one of the securities guns, he shoots some of the men and manages to break the glass of the box. Mrs. Radcliff is free, Aram kisses her, but it doesn’t take time for them to get caught. The host tells Aram that he is going to tell them what he knows and his men are going to take the two of them outside and drown them. All of sudden, the task force enters and its all over.
The task force has the host in custody, Liz tells him that the members so far have told them about six murders. He says it is all for the society, thrill-seekers. Liz asks the host if he knows Lewis Steinhill, at first he says no, then gives in after they tell him that they could take the death penalty off the table.
Red finds out that Francesca is not married after all, she was lying to Red.
Liz arrives home, she calls Red and tells him that she has an address for Steinhill, Katerina is listening in. Katerina left her note and gift for her daughter, Liz is touched at her thoughtfulness.
Red and Dembe go to the address, but Katerina gets there first.
Liz has her daughter thank Katerina and asks her to come read one of the books to her. Liz asks Katerina how she became estranged with her daughter, she says it just matters that she wants to make amends now.
Aram goes to Mrs. Radcliff’s house to make sure she is ok and tells her to not feel bad about the kiss. Then, he kisses her again.
