The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Jaqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) is in her character’s corner! She understands Steffy’s stance and offered an explanation in a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest. Wood shared her thoughts on Steffy, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and the rivalry that’s revving up once again.
For starters, Wood admitted that there’s a bit of a “dance” since Steffy was hurt by Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but Steffy still wants to forgive him and heal her family. It’s kind of an inner battle between being protective of Thomas and trying to get past what he’s done. However, Steffy’s got a big problem with Hope believing Thomas died and keeping quiet about it! Wood suggested Steffy would give Hope an earful for that, but there’ll be underlying tension driving their argument.
“This confrontation has been a while in the making because ever since Hope has taken Beth back, it was so heartbreaking and gut-wrenching for Steffy, and Hope hasn’t really allowed Steffy to be around Beth, the baby girl who she raised for almost the first year of her life,” Wood said.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has let Steffy enjoy some visits with Beth, but would those visits be happening if Hope wasn’t distracted by Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and all the custody drama? That’s tough to say. Perhaps it’s worked out in Steffy’s favor that Hope’s been too busy to focus on Beth.
Regardless, Steffy feels slighted and shoved aside by Hope. Now that she realizes Hope stayed tight-lipped about Thomas’ “death,” Wood thinks it backs up everything Steffy knows about her B&B rival. “It just proves Steffy right when she points out that Hope can be all about herself – and she can be manipulative and point fingers at everybody else, as well,” Wood insisted.
Wood added that although Steffy’s stepping up for Thomas here, she may also be coming from a place of payback. “Hope is definitely squirming, and Steffy kind of enjoys it,” Wood admitted. In some new scenes during the week of December 2-6, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy and Hope will almost play a tense game. Hope will be unsure of how much Steffy knows, so Steffy will pull a few tricks and try to make Hope spill.
As their conflict rapidly escalates, The Bold and the Beautiful fans can expect some shocking moments. Wood promised some fireworks, so don’t miss what’s in store.
