The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) have some dark days ahead of them. Thanks to Dr. Reese Buckingham’s (Wayne Brady) deception at the clinic, it seems “Lope” will face a long road of grief and suffering. Baby Beth’s “death” will likely leave their marriage hanging by a thread.
Of course, it’ll take a while for things to crumble between them. At first, this B&B nightmare could actually bring them closer. Liam and Hope may support each other as they mourn. The loss could help them bond, but there’ll be a huge shift eventually. It’s possible that resentment will become a real problem.
Hope may ultimately feel like Liam holds her responsible for their daughter’s demise. The Catalina Island babymoon was her idea, but she couldn’t predict it’d go so horribly wrong. Reese will really be the one to blame since he’ll be hiding the truth about Beth’s survival. Unfortunately, Hope and Liam won’t know that. Regrets and even anger may be part of their struggles moving forward.
Hope could also resent Liam due to his family with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Liam may find comfort in spending more time with Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington) in the coming months. He’ll still have that happiness while Hope has nothing. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say it could widen the rift between them and send “Lope” spiraling toward destruction.
At some point, Hope may not be able to take it anymore. She once pushed Liam to choose his other family if that’s what he really wanted. Hope gave him an out, but Liam passed up the chance. This time Hope may not give Liam an option. She might make the choice for him and simply file for divorce.
Hope could even consider herself a bit of a martyr for doing it. She might think she’s setting Liam free and relieving him from a burden. Hope could argue that Liam’s just staying with her out of pity. She wouldn’t want that, so she might suggest that a “Steam” reunion makes more sense for Liam.
