The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, March 18, tease that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) grief will bring concerns. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Dr. Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) are glad to have their son back in town, but they wish the circumstances were better. It’ll be tough for Thomas to figure out his own path now that Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) is gone.
Taylor and Ridge will let Thomas know they’ve got his back, so he should appreciate their support. However, Thomas will face some challenges as a newly single dad. He’ll have to help Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) cope in the aftermath of his mom’s death. That’s not going to be easy since Thomas isn’t even sure how to cope himself.
B&B spoilers say Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will be Thomas’ saving grace throughout all this. She’ll connect with Douglas and give the kid the maternal comfort he’s craving. Hope lost Beth Spencer, so she’s had all this motherly love built up with nowhere to go. She wanted to give some of it to “Phoebe Forrester” (Isabella de Armas and Redford Prindville), but that won’t be possible for a while.

The timing is unfortunate since Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would like to be there for Thomas, but she’s needed in Paris. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will stick to the plan, so she’ll make some final preparations on Monday. Babies need lots of supplies, so Steffy undoubtedly has plenty to pack for “Phoebe” and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Chloe Teperman).
Taylor and Ridge will brace for Steffy’s goodbye as they try to make Thomas feel welcome. As for Hope, her caring nature will make a big impression on Thomas. He’ll see how great Hope is with Douglas and get choked up because of it. Thomas will know how much Douglas needs an older female to bond with right now, so his heart will be truly touched.
