The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that big changes are coming up. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is still quite obsessed with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and their future together. Even after Thomas makes love to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) during the week of December 30-January 6, he’ll remain committed to his goal. Thomas will still be using Zoe as part of his plan to win over Hope.
However, 2020 will bring a Thomas overhaul. It looks like B&B intends to dial down Thomas’ crazy side and make him a more viable love interest, which is certainly a good idea. Atkinson is a great actor and happens to be handsome as well. He’s been an excellent addition to The Bold and the Beautiful cast, so there’s no reason to write him into a villainous corner.
Of course, that means Thomas has to get away from this Hope obsession of his. He needs to accept that he can’t always have what he wants. It’ll be a slow process, but The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest Thomas will get there eventually. Over time, Thomas will form a deeper connection with Zoe than he expected. She’ll become more than just a pawn in his latest plot.
That should thrill Zoe, who’s been crushing hard for a while now. Thomas will begin to give Zoe the genuine attention she craves, and they’ll form a stronger bond because of it. Nevertheless, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers make it clear that Hope is still number one in Thomas’ heart. Basically, Thomas will be settling for his second choice and trying to make the best of it.
That naturally leaves the door open for Hope’s feelings to change in the new year. As Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) drifts toward Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), it’s easy to imagine Hope drifting toward Thomas. The problem is Hope could have some competition for Thomas by then as well!
Although Hope is Thomas’ first choice, he may worry about hurting Zoe. If Thomas is truly going to change as these Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate, he’ll have to start thinking about other people’s feelings. Thomas may also be wary of dropping devoted Zoe for torn Hope, who could end up back with Liam.
No matter how this plays out, it’s nice that Thomas is going to settle down and perhaps have a healthy relationship. Do you want to see Thomas with Zoe or Hope?
