The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday, January 8, tease that Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) will continue to get dogged by the thug who’s been harassing him to pay off his massive gambling debt. Reese has been putting him off for days now, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that the guy isn’t fooling around.
The thug is now following Reese’s daughter Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and threatening her life if Reese doesn’t pay up in a timely fashion. Of course, Reese has had a good reason for putting the thug off.
Reese was largely unreachable during the big storm, and he’s been busy dealing with Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) delivery and the alleged loss of baby Beth Spencer. Reese has done a good job of convincing Hope, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and everyone else that Beth died as a result of a placental abruption.
But now the thug is going to reiterate his threats against Zoe, and Reese is really going to feel the heat. On Tuesday’s episode, Reese will finally stop stalling and tell the thug he will pay up. Reese apparently has a plan to get the money, and chances are it involves baby Beth. It has been speculated for weeks now that Reese would take Hope and Liam’s baby and sell it to pay off his debt.
Of course, that would mean that Reese has a healthy baby Beth hidden away somewhere, and that he presented Hope and Liam with someone else’s dead baby. Stranger things have certainly happened, and since Reese is desperate to protect his own daughter, we shouldn’t put anything past him.
Next, on the new B&B episode on Tuesday, January 8, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will get some advice from Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Ridge’s heart will be breaking for Hope, but he may not feel sure about how to deal with Hope and the terrible loss that she’s suffered. It looks like Brooke will offer Ridge some step-parenting advice on the matter.
Brooke will probably tell Ridge to just be there and offer love and support to both Hope and Liam going forward. There’s nothing that anyone can really say that will ease Hope and Liam’s pain of losing a child, and the important thing is that their loved ones are present to help them grieve. We know that there will be a memorial family gathering at the Forrester estate in the coming days, so Ridge may be involved in setting that up.
