The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be left confused and rattled during the week of August 19-23. After Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) suddenly asks Sharon to marry him, she’ll wonder what’s prompting this surprise proposal. Adam will insist there’s no point in fighting this. He’ll argue that they belong together, so they might as well accept it.
Sharon, on the other hand, will feel like there are other factors in play. Adam’s war with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be one of them. She’ll feel like this may be part of some strategy to retaliate, but Adam will insist his love is real and their future could be, too. Adam will beg Sharon to ditch her doubts and just trust him on this.
Sharon Newman Will Think Adam Newman Is Being Impulsive
However, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will remain a serious concern for Sharon. It hasn’t been that long since Adam was fighting for Chelsea, so Sharon will think her rejection is also part of this.
Sharon will suspect that since Adam can’t put his family back together with Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), he’s reacting impulsively. She just won’t think this is a good idea.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Adam will be turned down, but for how long? Could there be something that sparks a change of heart? Y&R fans can expect Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to finally go after revenge during the week of August 26-30. Adam will have a target on his back, so extreme danger is looming.
Adam Newman’s Tortured Soul Is Just As Appealing To Her
If Adam gets seriously injured or even ends up near death, Sharon will be a wreck. The thought of losing Adam again might be enough to make her sign on for this marriage. It’s easy to imagine Sharon crying by Adam’s hospital bed and pleading with him to wake up. Sharon might promise to marry and never let him go if he does this for her.
Of course, a similar scenario could play out if one of Adam’s boys takes the blow. Connor or Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) could inadvertently get hurt, which would highlight Adam’s softer side. Sharon likes the dangerous bad boy in Adam, but his tortured soul is just as appealing. Seeing Adam be so vulnerable might be just what Sharon needs to take the marriage plunge.
Regardless, there are certainly ways for Y&R to nudge Sharon toward the altar. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some great scenes are coming up.
