The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that a shocking return is rapidly approaching. During the week of August 19-23, someone will make a stunning comeback in Genoa City. Will that someone be Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)? It seems likely based on the timing of Hendrickson’s return to set.
Of course, most of GC doesn’t know Chloe is alive and has been hiding out in Portland. Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) was finally able to go home to Chloe thanks to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). He’d been stuck doing Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) dirty work, but Michael came through for his brother and made it so their family could be reunited.
We have to wonder why Chloe would put that family reunion at risk now. After all, she’s presumably at a new location now with Kevin and Bella Fisher (Cali May Kinder). They planned to disappear and make sure Adam couldn’t find them, so what’s up? Chloe would have to have a good reason to come out of hiding.
What Kind of Trouble Will Chloe Mitchell Get Into On Her Return?
One explanation might be that they’re not so great at disappearing – or that Adam is just that good at playing hide and seek. Adam might track Kevin down if he feels there’s something only a man of his talents can handle. We should note that Kevin will indeed be back along with Chloe. Hendrickson’s Instagram story of Greg Rikaart on set served as proof when she announced her return.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll come on the scene at the same time. It’s possible Chloe will head back to Genoa City alone and force Kevin to follow her. Her sanity tends to come and go, especially where Adam’s concerned! The Young and the Restless fans know Chloe can do some wild things at any given moment, so you never know what trouble she might get into.
It’s also possible this will tie in with Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) Y&R storyline in some way. If Billy contacts Chloe in desperation, she might sense that he’s coming unhinged. She’s been in Billy’s shoes and might feel the need to intervene. Chloe knows first-hand how spiraling out of control can force you into a dangerous life on the run. She may not want that for Billy.
Is Chloe Mitchell Behind Billy Abbott’s Recent Delia Drama?
Then again, there’s a chance Chloe or Kevin could be behind Billy’s intense Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) grief. They seem to be out of town right now, but they could have helpers or perhaps be closer than they appear. One or both of them might be pushing Billy over the edge to get rid of Adam.
Kevin would be the most likely culprit since he was so determined to get Adam out of the way. Chloe made it clear she didn’t want Billy to go after Adam. Unless she was lying, maybe Chloe will figure out what’s going on and come home to warn Billy. It’s an option to consider since Billy’s really losing it over this whole “ghost” situation.
