The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, December 6 Review – Phyllis Fired, Abby Busted As Jewel Thief – Connor Plays Parents

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Friday, December 6 tease that Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) behavior will get even more disturbing. He won’t be pleased to hear that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is on her way to the penthouse for another session with him, and he’ll eavesdrop from the stairs as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) discuss doing whatever they can to help him get better.

Once Sharon arrives, she and Connor will draw and talk, and she’ll ask if they can talk about the last time she was there, since he seemed pretty upset about the “monster.” Connor will say that he has a way to keep the monster away, and after a little coaxing, he’ll reveal that it’s like casting a spell. He’ll say that says “Can’t beat Three. Mom and Dad and me” to keep the monster away.

Connor will then tell Sharon that she doesn’t have to come around anymore, and that he doesn’t need their talks. He’ll state that his parents are the ones helping him, and that when he’s with Sharon, he’s not with them. Sharon will later tell Adam and Chelsea that Connor has developed a coping mechanism, and that he came right out stated that he didn’t want to see her anymore.

Chelsea and Adam will then tell Connor that they’re going to spend the evening together watching sports and eating junk food, and they’ll give Connor a jersey with his name on it. He’ll be thrilled, and when he goes upstairs to put his jersey on, Chelsea and Adam will remark on how Connor seems to have turned a corner, but that they’re not going to stop Sharon’s visits.

Connor will again be lurking on the stairs, listening to his parents, and he’ll repeatedly chant to himself, “Sharon, Sharon go away. Don’t be here another day. Can’t beat three. Mom and Dad and me.” Clearly, there are some heavy things going on with Connor. Despite being deeply troubled over the “monster,” he seems to have a manipulative streak as well, and he wants to order his world in just the right way to quell his anxiety…much like his father does.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Friday, December 6, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will summon Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to The Grand Phoenix. Abby will have learned from Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) that Phyllis indeed used the security system to spy on devices hooked into the hotels wifi. She’ll tell Phyllis that she’s fired, and after a considerable amount of bickering and insults lobbed in either direction, Phyllis will storm out.

Chance will arrive afterwards, and he’ll tell Abby that he’s been giving the matter some thought, and he thinks that the recent jewelry thefts at the hotel might be an inside job. Abby will assume that Phyllis was behind the thefts, but Chance won’t be so sure. Abby will then ask Chance to tell her who the robber is over drinks, and Chance will happily accept her invitation.

They’ll agree to meet back at the hotel after Chance runs an errand, and when he comes back, he’ll literally run into Abby. She’ll drop her big purse, and the contents will spill out. Chance will crouch down to help her pick everything up, and he’ll notice a bunch of expensive-looking jewelry. Abby will look aghast and totally guilty as Chance says that their drink will have to wait.

Finally, Phyllis will show up at Society in dire need of a drink after her firing. She’ll find Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the bar and complain about Abby firing her and her own problems until Nick points out that he has his own issues to deal with. She’ll listen as Nick explains that Adam is using Connor’s issues to get closer to Chelsea. Phyllis will agree with him, but she’ll also wonder if he’d be better off without Chelsea.

Phyllis and Nick will bicker over her viewpoint, and she’ll insist that Chelsea could be spending her evenings at Nick’s house after Connor went to bed. She’ll then go on to say that Chelsea was raised a con artist and that it’s in her nature to be deceitful, to which Nick will reply, “like Adam.” Ultimately, Phyllis will tell Nick as a friend to get out of the relationship before it costs him more than it already has. Nick will then leave, having heard enough.
