The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will continue his war with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). They called a tearful truce after Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) death, but it seems that only applies to the vicious nature of their battle. They’ll still be going head to head, but they might be a little less sneaky about it.
However, Jack will find another feisty woman to fight with during the week of May 6-10. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will spar in the boardroom. Lauren approved when Jack pitched his new plan for Fenmore’s, but he may backtrack on some of the things he promised. If so, that could leave Lauren fuming and ready for a showdown.
Lauren is understandably quite protective of Fenmore’s – just like Jack’s protective of Jabot. They’ve both willing to do whatever it takes to keep their companies afloat. Lauren and Jack have softer sides underneath the harsh business exterior, so they’re really a lot alike. That could be important as this storyline progresses during May sweeps.
Despite Jack and Lauren’s issues, they’ll find ways to bond. Lauren may be there for Jack as he faces the possibility of putting Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) in a memory care facility. Jack could be drawn to that side of Lauren as this connection grows stronger. He may even like the angry, passionate part of Lauren. After all, Jack was in love with Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) once upon a time.
Regardless, trouble could be brewing if Lauren isn’t careful. Her marriage to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is on solid ground right now, but what happens if Jack makes his move? That could happen based on some new May sweeps info.
“Kerry Johnson” aka Dominique Caroll (Alice Hunter) broke Jack’s heart, but he’ll be looking for a way forward. Could he actually find it by looking back? The Young and the Restless spoilers say someone from Jack’s history will be crucial to his new storyline. He’ll begin to see someone he has a history with in a different way, so Lauren would certainly fit here.
Will Lauren have an affair with Jack? Will Y&R just take them to the brink and have Lauren stay committed instead? Either way, this sounds heartbreaking for poor Michael! Even if Lauren is merely tempted, it could be a hurtful blow.
