The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and recap for Monday, June 17, tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is in for a huge shock. After he revs up the pressure, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will blurt out that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is alive. When Michael asks about proof, Kevin will admit he’s been living with Chloe for the last two years.
Kevin will also confess that he kidnapped Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Once Michael hears about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the girlfriend confusion, he’ll blast Kevin for not confirming his information. Michael will start to call Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), but Kevin will insist he can’t do that. He’ll beg Michael to help him reunite Chloe with Bella Fisher (Cali May Kinder) instead.
Kevin will assure Michael that he can keep Chloe at a distance, but he’ll have to remain in town as part of his deal with Adam. Michael will reluctantly let Kevin leave to meet Adam, so he’ll be in this just as deep! Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll be furious when he opens an envelope. Nick will learn that Adam’s suing for full custody of Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen).
At Dark Horse, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will stop by to speak with Adam. She’ll want to get along for Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) sake. Victoria will think maybe they can reach an agreement and give the Dark Horse back to Nick, but Adam won’t be on board. Once Nick arrives in a rage, he’ll fill Victoria in on the custody situation and promise Adam that he’s never giving up his son.
Adam won’t think Nick can stop him since he’ll just demand a new DNA test. Y&R spoilers say Victoria will naturally side with Nick and warn this will come back to bite Adam. Afterward, Kevin will show up and reveal that Phyllis escaped. Adam will just want to shift gears and concentrate on the war that’s brewing.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will hire Michael as his custody lawyer. He’ll hope they can teach Adam a lesson, which Michael would be thrilled to do. He’ll feel like they can find ways to eliminate Adam as an option in court.
After Victoria stops by to apologize to Nick, he’ll call Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). Nick will contend that Adam’s going after Christian, so he may go after Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois), too.
In Las Vegas, Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) will meet with Phyllis and wonder about her sudden interest in Adam. We’ll see Michelle Stafford make her long-awaited return as Phyllis looks smug at the bar. Back in Genoa City, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will turn to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) for guidance. He’ll bring Mariah up to speed on his latest romantic dilemma and seek her help.
Mariah will think it was indeed a big mistake to pay off Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) loan debt. She’ll think it was too much, too soon. It made Elena feel like she had no power here, so Devon will get the picture. He’ll be grateful for Mariah’s perspective.
At the coffeehouse, Elena will back in Genoa City after catching some of Jett Slade’s (Gilbert Glenn Brown) first few shows. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will hear about her recent snag with Devon and point out that he’s a generous guy. He knows what it’s like to have nothing and likes to pay it forward.
Elena will still be bothered by the way Devon ignored her feelings, but Nate will think they should work through this. At the penthouse later, Elena will notice handmade cards from some young students. Devon will admit he donated computers to his old school, so Elena will once again be reminded of his generosity. They’ll discuss respect and pinky swear to tackle issues like this head-on in the future.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Elena will share a kiss as they get back on track, but visions of Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) will continue to bring drama.
