The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, September 30 – Adam’s Plan Goes Awry – Brittany Back for Legal Drama – Chelsea Blasts Nick

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 30, tease that one couple will face a serious setback. Y&R fans know Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) quickly fell back into a familiar groove with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). It didn’t take long for them to get their relationship back on track. However, their romance will take a nosedive thanks to the secret Nick’s been keeping.

In Monday’s episode, Nick will be all worked up about something. He may feel like Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) going to blow everything by leaving town. Chelsea will think Nick needs to calm down and accept that he’s grieving. She’ll think that’s making his emotions worse, but Nick will insist that isn’t it. When Chelsea keeps pushing, Nick will ultimately divulge that his father’s alive.

Once Nick reveals Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) scheme, Chelsea’s shock will turn to rage. She’ll be appalled with Nick for letting Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) believe his grandpa was gone. Chelsea won’t be happy about the way Adam was manipulated either. She’ll understand Nick’s desire to seek justice, but letting Adam believe he murdered his dad wasn’t the right strategy.

Chelsea will view all of this as incredibly cruel, so The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will get an earful. Meanwhile, Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) will be on the scene to help the Newmans with their legal matters. They should have quite a mess on their hands!

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been charged with a murder that’s not actually a murder. Adam’s next in line based on the new evidence Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) is about to present. Then, we’ve got Victor’s fake demise. He’s probably committed a dozen crimes to pull this off and the Newmans in the loop are all accomplices. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) could land in hot water as well.

Brittany could be a busy woman once the truth comes to light, but we’ll see how long that takes. As for Adam, his attempt to leave town could be derailed due to all the legal drama. Will Adam’s arrest prevent his trip out of Genoa City? There’s a chance Victor will simply talk Adam into sticking around, but Adam may have to face the consequences of switching his father’s pills either way.

Elsewhere, Jill Walton (Jess Walton) will suspect someone’s bluffing – most likely Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Jill will continue to believe this whole will challenge thing sounds fishy, so she’ll probably confront Amanda on Monday. She still won’t be convinced Chance Chancellor is behind this, but Amanda will insist he’s indeed her client and his claims are legit.

Later in the week, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will be accused of making trouble with Chance. The Young and the Restless spoilers say chaos will erupt for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), so don’t miss all the action. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
