The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 9, tease that a couple returns are on the way. Y&R fans know Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) brought two influencers in from Chicago recently. Theo and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) met with Indio (Jules Aurora) and Tallulah (Briana Cuoco) to see if they might be a good fit for Power Communications. They had a productive chat about building the girls’ online presence and taking their careers to the next level.
Indio and Tallulah will be back on the scene this Monday, so they may be ready to take some steps forward. Of course, Mariah and Theo have a little feud going on. They both have a competitive side and happen to be playing each other at the moment. Theo’s got his eye on Mariah’s job, but she’s still got a few tricks up her sleeve. She’s certainly not going let Theo swoop in and take over without a fight.
Theo seems due for a setback anyway since he’s taunting Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) nonstop. If anyone can give Theo a run for his money, it’s Mariah. Theo thinks he’s brilliant, but Mariah might be able to take him down a few pegs eventually. In the meantime, there’ll be more prep for the Grand Phoenix opening, so Tallulah and Indio might find some exciting ways to promote it.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he be unknowingly poisoning himself thanks to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Adam switches out his dad’s prescription bottle for an altered one on Friday. That’ll leave Victor popping pills with double the dosage, but he won’t have a clue. There’s a chance Victor will already be feeling weaker than usual in Monday’s Young and the Restless episode.
Some dizzy spells and extreme fatigue are in Victor’s future. He won’t be doing well at all due to Adam’s cruel scheme. At some point soon, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will fret over Victor’s struggles at the coffeehouse. He won’t be able to stand as a wave of exhaustion hits hard.
Will Adam regret doing something so devious? That seems likely, especially since Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) expressed concern about his grandfather. Connor just got Victor back in his life, so Adam may battle guilt if his plot goes awry and Victor’s condition takes a terrible turn.
This drug is experimental, so that alone could set up major trouble. Anything can happen when you start altering meds that are risky to begin with!
