The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will take charge of her life again. She’ll realize Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may be just the person to give her what she wants. Of course, Adam doesn’t truly care about anyone but himself these days. He won’t help Phyllis willingly, so she’ll have to make it so Adam has no choice but to cooperate.
It looks like Phyllis will score information she can use to her advantage. After talking to Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) and perhaps some of “Spider’s” other old connections, Phyllis should have some serious leverage. Since Phyllis never would’ve been kidnapped if she hadn’t gotten mixed up with Adam, she won’t feel a bit bad about the nightmare she’s about to unleash.
Not that Phyllis ever really feels bad about unleashing nightmares! In her mind, the ends justify the means. Phyllis is sick and tired of letting hypocrites walk all over her.
Adam Newman Makes An Offer
She’s made her fair share of mistakes, but she feels like she’s the only one who ever truly pays the price for them. You can’t get far by fighting fair in Genoa City, so Phyllis will do whatever it takes to become a power player again.
As luck would have it, Adam has a lot offer Phyllis. For starters, Y&R fans know Adam is now the proud owner of Dark Horse. There’s a CEO seat just waiting for Phyllis to sit in it – and we all know how much she’d love rubbing that in Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) face. Phyllis can negotiate pretty much any deal she wants with the right dirt. It sounds like she’ll pretty much own Adam soon, which should be fun.
Adam deserves to get knocked down a few pegs, so Phyllis might as well be the one to do it by blackmailing Adam. This will give Michelle Stafford some excellent material to work with right off the bat.
Spider’s Shady Details Emerge
Whatever Phyllis discovers about Adam’s past might put his custody pursuit in jeopardy. It could even put Adam’s freedom at risk, so The Young and the Restless spoilers say trouble’s brewing.
If Adam killed someone or committed some other horrible crime, it might put him in a situation that even Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) magic wand couldn’t get him out of.
“Spider” had a totally different life with plenty of shady details that could come out. Unless Adam wants to lose all his power, it seems he’ll have to surrender some of it to Phyllis!
