The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of October 21-25 tease that some scary moments are coming up. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in Vegas, but their conversation should be tense. Adam will undoubtedly be reluctant to come home with Nick, but Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) phone call may change his mind.
Nick will be worried when Chelsea reveals she’s calling from Memorial. He’ll ask what Chelsea’s doing at the hospital, so she’ll reply that it’s Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). It sounds like Connor may act out again by doing something dangerous. Chelsea will be concerned, but she won’t appear frantic. It seems Connor’s injuries won’t be serious, but it’s clear that the kid’s spiraling out of control.
Nick will either pass along the news or perhaps hand Chelsea the phone. Once Adam gets the full picture, he should have no choice but to return. Adam loves his son with all his heart, so he won’t want to abandon him like this. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Connor will be reunited with his dad soon enough.
In the meantime, the Abbotts will deal problems of their own. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) left both Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in charge, but Billy doesn’t care about that. In his mind, he’s running the show and Kyle’s just along for the ride.
Although Kyle’s done excellent work at Jabot, it’s never enough for Billy. Kyle will gripe about constantly having to prove himself. He’ll think it feels like Billy’s just waiting for him to fall on his face. Billy will admit that maybe that’s true. He’ll feel confident Kyle will make a rookie mistake and show Jack he’s not ready.
Kyle, on the other hand, will have big plans to outsmart Billy. Y&R spoilers say quite the battle’s brewing, so don’t miss all the action. Over with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he’ll get some advice from Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). After Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) brings home the alleged original will pages, Devon will remain skeptical. He won’t feel any closer to answers here.
However, Elena will suggest Devon should talk to someone closer to the issues – someone who knows Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Cane better than anyone else. Devon will realize Elena’s talking about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who will indeed return by the end of the week.
