The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be shaken over a crisis. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) wants a reunion with Chelsea and Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois), but there are a couple of people standing in his way. The first is Chelsea herself since she’s adamant that she’s moved on. The second is Chelsea’s new husband, Calvin Boudreau (John Burke).
After Chelsea rejects Adam in person, he’ll resolve to keep at it. Adam won’t accept failure as an option. He loves Chelsea and hopes to recapture what they’ve lost. Adam desperately wants his family back, so he’ll do everything in his power to make his own dreams come true.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that a medical shocker could put Adam a step closer. Chelsea’s new husband will appear on July 2 as he apparently either follows her to Genoa City or comes along to make sure she’s OK. Regardless, Calvin will suffer some sort of health emergency while he’s in town.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and another EMT will rush to Calvin’s side ASAP. They’ll put him on a stretcher and transport him to the hospital for urgent treatment. Calvin might get all worked up over Adam and have a heart attack. Then again, there’s always a chance foul play will be involved. We wouldn’t put it past Adam to slip Calvin something and spark this medical episode!
However, it’d be better for Y&R to keep Adam’s hands clean here. He doesn’t have to be the bad guy all the time. They might as well preserve Adam’s softer side when it comes to Chelsea. Whatever the case, this may be an easy way for the show to get rid of Chelsea’s new spouse. Will Calvin die thanks to this ordeal? That could certainly leave a bigger opening for Adam to swoop in.
Calvin isn’t sticking around to be some great love interest for Chelsea. He’ll just keep the plot moving and most likely set up a different love triangle. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Chelsea will battle feelings for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in addition to Adam. She loved them both at different times, but Adam may be one who still truly has her heart.
