The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could be setting himself up for heartbreak. Of course, we can’t pin all the blame on this new husband. Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) is certainly setting Kyle up, too! Her plan could lead to some devastating consequences for Kyle as well as Summer Abbott (Hunter King).
On Tuesday, Phyllis sets a trap by going out of town with Summer. She also suggests to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) that Kyle is never going to love his wife. Phyllis caps off her plot by ordering someone to spy on Lola and Kyle, so now she just has to wait for the magic to happen. She’s arranged the ideal cheating scenario, which is exactly what’s going to happen.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola will want to get a room with Kyle, so that’s what they’ll do. Y&R’s weekly promo shows some steamy scenes, so it looks like they’ll go all the way with a hot hookup. Phyllis will likely blackmail Kyle in the aftermath, but what then? At some point, the truth’s still going to come out.
Will Kyle ultimately regret betraying Summer? Although he’s still in love with Lola, perhaps he’s still in love with Summer, too. Kyle spent so much time chasing Summer like she was some impossible dream. Summer just didn’t realize what she had until it was gone. These two have really struggled to get on the same page about wanting each other at the same time.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that trend could continue in the coming weeks. Once Summer realizes Kyle cheated, she’s sure to be crushed. Summer truly thought she could win Kyle over – and maybe she has. Kyle may just not be ready to admit it to himself yet.
After Summer most likely gets an annulment and pushes Kyle away, he’ll surely see how much damage he’s done. This will bring pain for Kyle as well, so he may determine that his feelings for Summer run deeper than he thought.
