The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 5, tease that several Genoa City residents will face battles. We should point out that impeachment hearings coverage could throw off the schedule this week. An episode could potentially be bumped on Wednesday and lead to some airdate adjustments. These Y&R spoilers should play out on Thursday or perhaps Friday if things get pushed back.
Now that we’ve covered that programming note, let’s get to all the action happening in GC. For starters, Y&R fans should get ready for a fierce faceoff. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) have really been pushing each other’s buttons lately. Unfortunately, it seems they’re stuck in this partnership until one of them can scheme her way out of it!
Phyllis claims she’s out of the scheming game, but who actually buys that? We all know she’ll plot again in a heartbeat if the opportunity presents itself. As for Abby, she’d be more than willing to play dirty against Phyllis. Their feud has definitely been revving up, so there’s a good chance it’ll spiral out of control on Thursday.
The Young and Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Abby will have a major showdown, which could mean all the anger and resentment will boil over. These two may let their rage erupt into a volcano of conflict! However, there’s still a jewelry robber on the loose and a hotel with an already damaged reputation to protect. Abby and Phyllis need to come together on this before things get any worse.
Over with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), The Young and the Restless spoilers say he’ll be concerned about his struggling son. Adam will continue to fear that his own war with the dark side is to blame for Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) problems. He may also worry that his own feelings for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) are affecting the situation.
Will Adam start to believe Connor’s playing up his issues as part of a parent trap? Adam might suspect that Connor can sense his dad’s drawn to Chelsea. He may think he’s somehow influenced his son to root for “Chadam,” but that’s probably not the case. Connor wanted Chelsea and Adam back together from the get-go, so Adam doesn’t need to blame himself for that.
Even so, Adam will fret about the influence he’s having on Connor – in one way or another. He may have a little father-son chat with Connor in hopes of steering him in the right direction.
