The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Thursday, March 14, tease that the convicted cover-up crew members will get a few more visits. In a holding room, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do his best to comfort Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). She’ll fret over Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) doing down with her and push Victor to focus on their daughter’s appeal first.
Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will make a promise to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). She’ll vow to look after Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), but she’ll get choked up about how Faith needs her mom. When Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) name comes up, Sharon will suggest she’s done giving Mariah a hard time. After what happened with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Sharon can’t trust her judgment of people.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will visit Victoria and vow to find J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) if he’s out there. He’ll also have a chat with Nikki and vow to be there for Victor in her absence. Back with Victoria, she’ll get some encouragement from her father. Victoria will think she was viewed as ruthless because of Tessa’s kidnapping, but Victor will argue that Victoria did what she had to do.
At Jabot, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will catch Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) talking to Summer Newman (Hunter King) about the wedding. He’ll rip into them for being insensitive to the rest of the cover-up crew’s pain. Afterward, Phyllis will tell Summer she understands where Billy’s anger is coming from. She’ll also want to know more about Summer’s plans with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Summer will contend that she’s eager to get married, but the honeymoon doesn’t really matter. Red flags will be raised, so Phyllis will wonder if Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) donor surgery has something to do with this. Summer will dismiss the idea and take off after receiving a call.
At the hospital, Kyle will be by Lola’s bedside when she finally starts to wake up. He’ll run for Dr. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell), who’ll bring Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) into see his sister. Lola will get updates on her month-long coma and upcoming liver transplant. She won’t recall the attack by the Abbott family pool, but she’ll hope to enjoy a visit with Kyle.
Back with Phyllis, she’ll try to visit the girls’ night gang. Only Victoria will agree to meet with her. She’ll balk at Phyllis’ apology and rant about her selling them all out. Y&R spoilers say Victoria will assure Phyllis that she’s going to get what she has coming.
Next, Billy will drop by and note that he doesn’t want to reveal Victoria’s sentence to the kids yet. He’ll want to get her out of this mess with Nick’s help. Victoria will ultimately break down in tears, so Billy will hold her close. Afterward, Nick will join Billy at the police station. They’ll want to see Rey immediately regarding a matter of life and death.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will drop the marriage bomb on Victor. He’ll learn she’s marrying Kyle tomorrow, so he obviously won’t be pleased. Nevertheless, Victor will agree to attend and insist he expects Summer back at work the very next day.
At the coffeehouse, Kyle will share his secret with Mariah. He’ll admit he’s marrying Summer so she’ll be Lola’s liver donor. Mariah will gripe about Kyle’s terrible plan and call Summer a spoiled brat, but Kyle’s mind will be made up. He’ll contend that he has to do this for Lola’s sake.
Soon after, Summer will call with good news. It took some work, but she talked Victor into giving her time off for a honeymoon after all. Summer will suggest it won’t be much, but it’ll be long enough to have the surgery and recover. Kyle will reaffirm that he intends to show up and tie the knot tomorrow.
