The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) picture-perfect relationship will shatter. She thinks her bond with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is stronger than ever – and why wouldn’t she? Billy is always putting on a smile and telling himself to fake it ‘til he makes it. He doesn’t feel like he can be the man Victoria needs him to be, but she’s not asking for a lot.
Billy is clearly going through some sort of mid-life crisis and feels pressured to be the ideal partner. Victoria sometimes gushes about how Billy’s perfect and their life is perfect, but that doesn’t mean she expects perfection. She just thinks they’re in a good place since Billy’s keeping her in the dark.
For some reason, Billy now acts like loving Victoria and being a family man is such a burden. This is what he was dying to have not too long ago! Billy’s the one who pressured Victoria to get back together – and was pretty darn persistent about it.
If Billy would just talk to Victoria and let her know how much he’s struggling, perhaps they could work through his issues as a team. Victoria can’t help if she has no idea what’s going on. Sadly, hiding his growing connection with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) could be Billy’s biggest problem.
Y&R spoilers say Victoria will discover something shocking during the week of January 6-10. Will Victoria spot Billy’s text exchange with Amanda on his phone? Could it be some other Amanda-related clue? Even if it’s just a hint about another woman in general, it probably won’t be long until Victoria zeros in on Amanda. She may make the natural assumption that Billy’s having an affair.
Billy and Amanda haven’t crossed that line yet, but they could be on the verge of doing it. In the meantime, Victoria may be hot on Billy’s trail. Her trust in Billy will break, so that could put her in secretive mode, too.
Victoria may not want to tell Billy that she doubts his commitment to her. She might try to convince herself nothing’s going on, but that’ll be tough as Billy’s bond with Amanda continues to grow. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy and Amanda will end up in a risky situation together. As 2020 gets underway, Amanda and Billy will be forced to reexamine the depth of their feelings.
It sounds like this is all building to a major confrontation. After the way Billy hounded Victoria about reuniting, she may explode over his interest in Amanda and all the secrets he’s been keeping. Things were supposed to be different for “Villy” this time, but Victoria may realize Billy’s changed for the worse!
