The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 27, teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will try to be there for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). At the penthouse, Adam will push Connor to talk about his recent nightmare. He’ll get his son to open up a bit and suggest Connor could talk to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as well, but Connor will insist he wants his mom.
Connor will complain about his stomachache until Adam ultimately decides to call Chelsea. At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) place, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will scramble to stop him from opening something she ordered. It’ll be a councilman nameplate, so Chelsea will once again have to apologize.
Nick will reassure Chelsea, who’ll have a little free time before she heads to work. Before they can kiss, Adam’s phone call will interrupt. After Chelsea hears about Connor’s stomach pains, she’ll decide to go stay at Adam’s place again for the night. Later, Chelsea will get brought up to speed on how Connor’s feeling. She’ll find out that Connor’s stomachache is gone after a visit with his doctor.
Adam will bring up Connor’s intensifying nightmares, so they’ll agree they have to keep working with Sharon. Since the doctor wants them to keep up a united front for Connor’s sake, Adam will mention it to Chelsea. He’ll promise he has no agenda here. Adam will just want to do what’s best for Connor.
After Chelsea decides to lengthen her stay by a few days, Connor will be ecstatic. He’ll insist that no monsters can get him if they’re all together. As for Nick, he’ll receive updates on Chelsea’s extended stay at the penthouse and gaze at her phone contact info pensively.
Other Y&R spoilers say Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have another pivotal therapy session. He’ll talk to Dr. Clay (Sandra Thigpen) about quitting his job at Jabot and knowing something else is out there for him. Dr. Clay will suggest Billy wants a quick fix. She won’t think Billy can find that and will be concerned about his self-esteem issues.
Dr. Clay will wonder if Billy has been self-sabotaging because he feels unworthy of respect. She’ll remind Billy that to change the pattern of his behavior, he has to get to the root of the problem. When Billy meets up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) later, she’ll get busy with a conference call. It’ll leave Billy looking deep in thought as he heads for Newman’s elevator.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will need a pep talk. Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) will feel confident Theo’s going to crush his new job at Jabot. After all, social media is a perfect fit for his skillset.
Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll already be at the office. Kyle will speak with Summer Newman (Hunter King) her new title: Vice President of Marketing. He’ll be pleased for Summer, but his own title of co-COO won’t be what he had in mind. The conversation will shift to Theo, who Summer promises has been preparing with all his Jabot homework. Kyle will admit he promised to keep an open mind about Theo turning things around, but he’ll still seem uneasy.
Once Theo arrives, it won’t take long for him to score an eyeroll from Kyle. Theo will plan to quiet the naysayers in his new role at the company. He’ll talk about studying the organizational chart, but Kyle will want him to stop sucking up. After Theo gives an impressive speech to his new team, Kyle will look it up and realize the same speech is online. He’ll grumble that he should’ve known.
Afterward, Kyle will talk to Summer about Theo being all smoke and mirrors. He’ll feel like Theo brings charisma to the table, but not much else. Summer will be annoyed with Kyle for raining on Theo’s parade, so Kyle will offer an apology. Next, Summer will reconvene with Theo, who’ll be happy about how his first day went. He’ll got in for repeated hugs as he expresses his excitement.
Back with Lola, she’ll be joined by Kyle at Society. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola will mention her earlier chat with Theo, who was adorably nervous in her opinion. It’s clear that Kyle isn’t getting Theo out of his orbit anytime soon, so Y&R fans can expect more drama! We’ll keep you posted as other news comes in.
