The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 16, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will tackle a mystery. It’s clear that Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) resemblance to Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) isn’t a coincidence. Amanda was hired specifically because she looked like Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) dead wife.
With that in mind, Nate will try to get to the bottom of things. He’ll think it’s time to finally get some answers, but he’ll have to be sneaky about it. Y&R fans know Nate’s been pretty combative with Amanda. It seems like he’s always looking for a fight when he approaches her. That’s why it’ll set off alarm bells when Nate is suddenly pleasant.
Amanda will question what Nate’s up to. She’ll probably call him out on the change in his demeanor and suggest he’s plotting something. Nate will insist he’d just like to get to know Amanda a bit better. Who exactly is Amanda Sinclair? Nate will subtly grill Amanda after challenging her to a game of pool. He’ll ask about Amanda’s experience in law school along with the major cases she’s worked on.
Nate will be hoping for any little clue that might lead to the truth. Amanda will ultimately feel like she’s being pumped for information, so she’ll assume Devon’s behind this. However, Nate will promise Amanda that Devon’s completely innocent. He’ll claim he just wanted to have a nice exchange, but Amanda may struggle to believe that.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will face the music. He’ll finally have that talk Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) requested, which will bring an angry interrogation. Victor will demand some answers about what happened on route 7. He’ll force Billy to admit he tried to kill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and offer a reason why.
Billy will assure Victor that he wouldn’t have done it under normal circumstances. It was like he was a different person at the time, but he got help and is still getting the support he needs. Billy will discuss how difficult it was after Adam returned. It stirred up a lot of pain and anger for Billy, but he’ll be deeply sorry for trying to murder Victor’s son. Billy now sees that it wouldn’t have solved anything.
While Billy pleads for mercy, Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will get hit by reality. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola will vent to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) about her marriage issues. Kyle and Lola have a serious argument in Tuesday’s episode, but their conflict will take a backseat soon enough.
It appears Wednesday will bring Lola’s nausea, dizziness and aversion to certain foods, so Abby will wonder if Lola might be pregnant. Lola will want to find out through a test ASAP. Kyle will get updates before long, so they’ll have to prepare for what might be next. The possibility of a baby will be a big deal for this couple!
