The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, September 18 Review - Adam Struggles With What He’s Done - Victoria Learns About Her Father’s Death

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Wednesday, September 18, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will arrive at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, and she’ll be ruffled about Adam blowing off a visit with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Adam will be surprised that she hasn’t heard about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death, so he’ll fill her in. Chelsea will offer Adam some comfort, but Adam will reject her touch, and she’ll leave. Adam will then consider calling Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), but he’ll think better of the idea.

Later, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will show up, and by that time Adam will have been drinking heavily. They’ll bicker as he’s lying on the couch drinking, as each tries to one-up each other playing the victim. Phyllis will opine that they should be celebrating the fact that Victor can’t ever hurt them again, which will irritate Adam, so he’ll lash out and insinuate that Phyllis still wants Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). That will sufficiently irritate Phyllis, who will call Adam a pig and leave.

And if Adam wasn’t already having a bad day, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will then arrive. He’ll have just found out about Victor’s death and he’ll say that he came to find out what he’s dealing with, and whether Adam had anything to do with it and plans to drag him into it. Adam will be about at his wit’s end by this point, and he’ll end up telling Michael that he’d better not plan on betraying him this time like he did with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Wednesday, September 18, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe will hear from Michael about Victor’s death, and after some back-and-forth about what to do, they’ll decide to go back to the boathouse and tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) the news.

But before they get there, Victoria and Billy will contemplate his recent ordeal. Billy will recap what happened when he was battling himself, and how he was “visited” by various people he knows, including Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono). He’ll credit Victoria for helping him and giving him the strength that he needed to fight off his dark side. Billy will want to go home, but Victoria will insist that he receive professional help, which he’ll balk at.

Later, Chloe and Kevin will arrive, and they’ll learn that Billy is really himself and not that “other Billy.” They’ll be satisfied that Billy really had a breakthrough, and then they’ll tell Victoria that Victor passed away. She’ll be stunned and clearly in denial as she accuses Kevin and Chloe of lying. Finally, she’ll accept the news and break down, crying.

Victoria will want to get to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) asap, and Billy will insist on accompanying her, which will cause a small squabble among the four, but ultimately Billy will insist on going, and they’ll all leave together to head to the ranch. Finally, Victoria will rush into the ranch, find Nikki, and hug her fiercely.
