Tonight on NBC America’s Got Talent begins with an all-new Tuesday, June 9, 2020, episode and we have your America’s Got Talent recap below! On tonight’s AGT season 15 episode 3 “Auditions 3″, as per the NBC synopsis, “The auditions continue with creator and executive producer Simon Cowell at the judges’ table along with Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and host Terry Crews.
Variety acts of all types and contestants of all ages audition for the chance to win the $1 million prize. The Golden Buzzer is back, allowing a lucky act the chance to go directly to the live shows to compete for America’s vote.”

The judges are ready, they are waiting for vanity to be pulled out on stage. Shockingly, there is a girl who comes out of one of the side drawers. The girl is a contortionist, and it is really creepy, almost she is made of rubber. The judges all have looks of shock and awe on their faces. She ends off her performance by bending over backward and shooting an arrow through a balloon. Emerald is 13 years old from San Diego.
Judges Comments: Heidi: “I think you are an incredible young lady, I can’t even touch my toes. What an amazing gift you have.” Sofia: “You have to have something special in your body to be able to do that. I thought it was fantastic. It’s not just what you do with your body, it’s the acting and the comedy. I want to see you do more crazy things.” Howie: “You were great.” Simon: “You are very creative and I much prefer judging acts who are professionals. You need to progress in this competition.”
Four yes votes from the judges for Emerald.
Bank of Harmony is a quartet from California. Simon is the first to hit his buzzer, then Heidi.
Judges Comments: Simon: “I think it was dated, something we have seen a million times before. I think other people are actually doing it much better.” Howie: “I think you have to give them credit for harmony. But, I don’t think you would have a good shot on this show, so for me it’s a no.” Heidi: “Its going to be a no for me as well, sorry.” Sofia: “I have to say no.”
Four no votes from the judges, they are not going through.
Joseph, Maria, and Jessica make up the group Resound, they quit their jobs to sing full-time. They sing a gospel version of “What the World Needs Now.” The audience and Simon, give them a standing ovation.
Judges Comments: “I love your voices so much. Your joy in performing is infectious. You were nervous, but great nervous. It was old school, I think your voices, your harmony was great.” Sofia: “I was hooked from the beginning, I want to get married again so you can sing and I can walk down the aisle.” Heidi: “This was flawless.” Howie: “You guys are such a well-tuned machine of music.”
Four yes votes from the judges.
Amanda LaCount lives in Los Angeles, she is going to dance. She is with her mom and says she gave up everything so she can move there. She started dancing since she was two years old and can’t imagine doing anything else. She has always been a bigger girl, and once was thrown off a team for her body type. She believes it is her time to shine. She says she represents the people who feel they are not heard or seen. Heidi hits the red buzzer.
Judges Comments: Sofia: “Amanda you gave it all. Your face, you were so happy. I couldn’t take my eyes off you.” Howie: “I think you are wonderful, and you are a wonderful person, and you can move, and you are athletic. You inspire people who don’t maybe fit the mold, but I don’t know if I would go see a whole show of you doing that. I don’t know if it is spectacular enough for this stage.” Heidi: “I also think you are fantastic and a great dancer. Your vibe, your spirit, your energy definitely got me bumping in my seat, but I don’t think it is a million-dollar act.” Simon: “I am going to be honest with you, for me, I loved every moment of your audition. Your joy and enthusiasm are contagious. You are memorable. I am going to remember you and I would like to see where you could progress. I will kick this off with a definite yes.”
Heidi says no, Sofia says, Howie is on the fence, the audience is standing and cheering, he says he is going to listen to the audience, he gives her a yes.
We see glimpses of several acts that got the boot because their nerves got the best of them.
Donella from Kazakhstan, she is 13 years old. She is a singer and has been singing her whole life. She really wants to be an American pop star. Her biggest dream is to be on America’s Got Talent, but she is afraid of Simon Cowell.
Judges Comments: Heidi: “I thought it was really cool, you seem so shy and then the music starts and you turn into a different person. You have a lot of swag on the stage, you belt it out for a really long time. I thought it was great.” Howie: “I love you, you are wonderful. You are like this little caterpillar, there is a cacoon, then you turn into a butterfly. I think you are going to be happy with the results.” Sofia: “I thought it was breathtaking, surreal, you look so delicate and tiny and it looked like you were possessed.” Simon: “There is a very interesting thing happening in the music industry right now where people your age, it’s kind of your time. This was an incredible first audition. You have a real shot with this.”

Marty Ross is from California, he was a salesman in the clothing industry for 50 years. He is going to do stand-up comedy. He has three ex-wives, which means he needs a million dollars as soon as possible. He is 80 years old. He gets an audience standing ovation.
Judges Comments: Howie: “You should feel incredible, I laughed out loud, I loved it, you are likable and there is a place for you in this world of comedy.” Sofia: “I love your story, I love your energy, it was great.” Heidi: “I think you are a little naughty and I loved it.” Simon: “You are very naughty. The audience told us everything, you really made me laugh.”
Four yes votes from the judges.
Celina is from San Diego, she is a singer. Her dad has been in a bad since she was born and she starts singing since she was three years old. She is very nervous and afraid of what the judges are going to think. A standing ovation from the audience and the judges.
Judges Comments: Sofia: “You have the name of a star, I felt what you did when you were singing. This means a lot to you to be here.” Heidi: “I felt the same thing as you Sofia, you have a beautiful tone in your voice and I can’t help but feel that you are going to go far in this competition.” Howie: “Beyond your singing, it is who you are. The way you look is so cool, it really is.” Simon: “This year we are meeting the most amazing people, and you are one of them. You have this glow about you. Who knows where you can go in this competition.”
Four yes votes for Celina.
The Diamante Brothers, they do magic, but they don’t speak.
Judges Comments: Simon: “I haven’t got a clue just what happened there. I got lost.” Heidi: “I have seen a lot of magic and this is by far the best magic I have ever seen.” Sofia: “I have been watching this show for a long time and I have never seen anything like that. I don’t know if it is talent or magic. I enjoyed it in a very weird way, this would be fun between meals on a cruise ship.” Howie: “I thought you were enjoyable, I thought you were funny. I loved how you made so little out of so much.” Simon gives them a no.
Howie, Heidi, and Sofia give them a yes.
Reihan is 9 years old, and Shaquil is 21 years old, they are from India. They are from a small village with very little opportunities and this is a big opportunity for them. It is Reihan’s dream to be on America’s Got Talent. Their dance is filled with flips and jumps – very acrobatic.
Judges Comments: Heidi: “It really is amazing how much talent is coming from India. It is amazing what you guys can do.” Howie: “I thought it was wonderful, you are what this show is about.” Sofia: “I thought it was spectacular, how synchronized the two of you were, it was like a mirror, it was beautiful.” Simon: “You are so likable, you have fantastic chemistry together, people are going to root for you.”
Four yes votes from the judges.
David Rush is a Senior Product Manager, he is going to attempt to break a world record, and he has previously broken over 125 records. Today, he is going to break the record for the most t-shirts worn and torn in one minute. Howie asks if that is as exciting as it sounds. He asks for a volunteer to challenge him and try along-side him. All the judges say no. Terry volunteers, he wants to break the world record. They return to the stage, both are wearing 30 shirts, the record is 28 shirts. He beat Terry.
Judges Comments: Howie: “You look like you got caught in a hurricane in Simon Cowell’s closet. Congratulations on the record, but this is not that entertaining.” Simon: “Most importantly, what would you do next – something a little more dangerous.” Heidi: “I want to see you again, so I am going to give you a yes.” Sofia: “I saw it and I enjoyed it but I don’t know.” Howie and Sofia say no.
Heidi and Simon say yes, but he is not going through.
Christina Rae is from Nashville, she is a body sculpture. She is with her little son Jeremiah, who is so adorable. She is there because she wants it her appearance to change her life. When she was pregnant, she was living in her car. She wants her son to have his own room. She will be singing. She is singing, “In the Air Tonight.” Simon asks to hear a second song, she sings, “A Shout Away.”
Judges Comments: Simon: Sofia: “It was fantastic, Heidi and I were getting goosebumps. I know it is not time to vote, but it is a yes.” Howie: “We handed you this house and you blew the roof off.” Simon: “Christina, there is only one way to describe your voice, it is insanely good. There is no point making shows like this unless we find people like you.” Heidi: “You are absolutely out of this world, my heart is racing for you.” Heidi hits the gold buzzer.
