Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Allie’s True Rapist Arrives in Salem – Creepy Charlie Starts Work at Titan, Henry’s Real Father?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a new suspect is emerging in the case of Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape. Allie clearly believes Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is the father of her baby through a nonconsensual act – and that could very well be true.

However, Lindsay Arnold insisted she wasn’t certain of the father’s identity in an interview with Dishin’ Days. Based on Arnold’s hints in that interview, it seems like a twist may be brewing. That leaves the door open for someone besides Tripp to be the man who raped Allie.

Of course, that brings up an intriguing question: If Tripp didn’t rape Allie, then who did? It looks like one option could be emerging based on a new character who’s set to appear. Let’s set the stage for this guy’s arrival.

On October 6, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will reel over Allie’s accusations regarding Tripp. It’ll really throw Claire for a loop when Allie argues that Tripp raped her while she was blackout drunk.

Claire was in Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) corner after Chase Jennings (Jonathon McClendon) raped her, so she may want to be in Allie’s corner, too. Chase was viewed as a nice guy before he became a monster, so Claire may worry the same thing happened with Tripp.

At the same time, Claire may have some doubts in the back of her mind.

The next day, Claire will get acquainted with a new Titan intern named Charlie. After the show put out a casting call for the role of “Oliver,” it led to an audition on Vimeo that was later deleted. Since it’s not unusual for a character name to change somewhere along the way, “Oliver” may actually be Charlie. If that’s the case, this guy’s dialogue is somewhat suspicious.

In the leaked DOOL audition scene, “Oliver” got off on the wrong foot with Claire over some spilled coffee. Once “Oliver” realized who Claire was, he suggested this was karmic payback and mentioned being a friend of Claire’s cousin, Will Horton (Chandler Massey).

“Oliver” also talked about how he wanted to meet Claire before this coffee incident went down, so Claire wondered why.

“I don’t know,” “Oliver” replied. “I keep asking myself the same thing. Why? I think I saw a picture of yours once. I thought you were hot. Interesting. Maybe. I don’t know. I’m always drawn to the wrong kind of girl.” Claire then pointed out that “Oliver” wasn’t a very nice person and wondered what her cousin saw in him.

Let’s assume “Oliver’s” name was changed to Charlie and he’s this intern Claire meets. What does that dialogue reveal? For starters, Charlie is connected to Allie’s older brother. He also has a penchant for stalking apparently. What the heck was Charlie doing looking at Claire’s picture and wanting to meet her because of it? That’s all kinds of creepy.

If Charlie knew Will, then he probably saw a picture of Allie or even heard all about her. Charlie might’ve decided he wanted to meet Allie, too. Perhaps that’s exactly what Charlie did the night Henry Horton was conceived in London. Charlie might’ve even come to Salem because of Allie.

Charlie also mentioned being drawn to the “wrong kind of girl,” which may be code for women who aren’t into him – women who he rapes when they don’t respond to his flirting. It seems significant that this guy’s coming on the scene now and will be connected to Claire.

Could Claire be the one to clear Tripp’s name and crack the case? Maybe Claire will help Allie figure out that it’s Charlie who’s her rapist, not Tripp. It’s a possibility to mull over as this Days of Our Lives mystery continues to unravel.
