Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) recently made a suspicious move – one that could offer some big clues about his secret. DOOL fans know Charlie got stuck at the office during the blackout, so he called Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) in hopes that she’d come let him out.
Claire indeed came to Charlie’s rescue, so she got the door open and suggested they should get out of there. That’s when Charlie did something rather peculiar. Instead of leaving the office, Charlie opted to stay and work on a project.
Since Charlie’s internship matters so much to him, he argued that he had to finish – even though it was after midnight and he’d literally just asked Claire to free him.
What was the point of Claire rushing over to let Charlie out if wasn’t going to actually get out?
It was just such an odd writing choice since Charlie could’ve easily dashed off with Claire. Days of Our Lives had the chance to keep building their romance.
Charlie could’ve enjoyed a midnight walk with Claire and done a little more bonding with his love interest as he walked her home.
Instead, Days writers made Charlie look suspicious by staying at the office when he had the opportunity to leave. Perhaps Charlie really did need to exit the Titan office ASAP; he may have simply chosen to leave Claire out of the loop on his plans.
Once Claire left, maybe Charlie took off to handle whatever it was he needed to get out for. Could Charlie have used that opportunity to do some DNA results tampering?
Charlie may know far more than he’s letting on if he’s done his research and is perhaps monitoring this whole Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) situation.
Now that Charlie knows Tripp’s been accused of raping Claire’s cousin, he’s got all the info he needs to look into Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) case and mess with it.
That could include planting listening devices and potentially finding out about the paternity test before Tripp ever did. It would explain why Charlie needed to get out and possibly didn’t want Claire to know why.
When it comes to the mystery of who actually assaulted Allie, Charlie remains a prime suspect.
We’re not buying that it’s really Tripp, though the DNA results will make it look that way during the week of November 2-6. Is that due to Charlie and whatever he truly did once Claire unlocked the door?
