Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will have some shocking news to impart to those closest to her in the days to come. As viewers know, Allie has just encountered Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) in the park, and according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, that interaction will bring about some horrible flashes of memories for Allie.
It looks like at some point during their talk, Tripp will grasp Allie’s arm, and that will bring back memories of the night that her son Henry Horton (Delaney and Parker Evans) was conceived.
Sadly, Allie’s memories of that evening will eventually lead her to conclude that she was the victim of nonconsensual sex that night, and that’s how she got pregnant with Henry.
Exactly what Allie remembers remains to be seen, but the Days of Our Lives previews for the week of September 28 clearly indicate that Allie will have just fragments of memories, as she was drinking that evening and also could have been drugged.
Whatever the case, Allie’s memories won’t be complete or clear, but what she does remember will paint a frightening scenario. It appears that Allie will have been with Tripp on that evening, which happened in London, but of course whether Tripp was in fact her rapist will probably be an open question on the show for a while.
There are several tracks that the storyline could take – for example, it could eventually be revealed that Tripp and Allie interacted that night, but that someone else was the person who committed the assault.
At any rate, it seems clear that Allie will make an outcry of rape against Tripp, and that’s going to lead to all sorts of questions among the people who know and love both Allie and Tripp. This accusation against Tripp by Allie is destined to divide Salem into warring factions.
Well, there’s one person in particular who is quite fond of both Allie and Tripp, and that’s Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Allie will be the one to tell Claire about what she believes that Tripp did to her, and Claire will be absolutely shocked.
Of course, Claire and Tripp were once a couple, so Claire knows first-hand about how Tripp generally treats people, and her first reaction to the news will probably be that it would be completely out of character for Tripp to rape anyone.
But then again, Claire and Allie seem pretty close, and Claire probably wouldn’t expect that Allie would make such an allegation against anyone lightly.
Claire is likely going to find herself stuck in the middle and not knowing what to believe, since she has no reason to think that Allie would lie about something like this while at the same time having no reason to think that Tripp would rape anyone.
So, what will Claire do? At some point, like everyone involved, she’s probably going to have to reach some conclusion about what she believes. Will she stand by Allie or Tripp?
If we had to guess, we’d say that Claire will probably stand by Tripp, given that she knows what it’s like to be falsely accused of a terrible crime, but you never know – Claire could even refuse to pick sides.
We’ll see what happens here, but it looks like Claire is really going to be rattled by Allie’s accusation, as will everyone in Salem eventually. Do you think that Claire will support Tripp in this very serious matter?
