Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that new departure details are coming out for Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez) and Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez DiMera). A joint Days exit is coming up, so let’s discuss how this is going to play out. Some big surprises are brewing as we build to Gabi and Rafe’s farewell.
For starters, Gabi will get updates on a surprising offer for Sonny Kiriaks (Freddie Smith). It appears a position in another city will lead Sonny and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) out of Salem, so this should cause quite a blowup over Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) and where she primarily lives.
However, life in Salem is always unpredictable, so that’ll certainly be the case for Gabi. It seems Gabi’s exit may not even be tied to Will and Sonny.
According to Freddie Smith, Sonny’s supposed to leave with Will on September 1. Gabi and Rafe’s DOOL departures are coming up the week before.
On August 26, Rafe will interrogate a startling intruder at his house. That has to be Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez), so he’ll either escape from prison or show up right after his release.
The latter seems most likely, but it does look like Eduardo will need some help – or could perhaps want to help Rafe and Gabi instead!
It’s possible a target will be on Eduardo’s back once he’s on the outside. Eduardo may fear danger for Rafe and Gabi or something along those lines. Then again, this might tie in with Gabi and Rafe’s mother, Adriana Hernandez (Alma Delfina).
If Adriana is ill or even dying, that’d be another reason for Rafe and Gabi to bolt together.
Regardless, Eduardo’s visit will bring some shocking news and a quick reason to leave town. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will pass along some troubling info to Gabi – and his timing couldn’t be worse.
Gabi will have just started to sizzle with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) at that point. Alas, it just isn’t meant to be right now.
Gabi will feel like she has no choice but to leave Salem behind – and that’s exactly what she’ll do. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Rafe and Gabi will say an emotional goodbye to Salem on August 28, so that should be their final airdate.
It’s a shame to see these siblings go, but their abrupt DOOL exit arc sounds intriguing.
