Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will finally be ready to spill the beans about why she’s so intent on destroying Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and her family.
Back when Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) suggested using this long-game strategy, Gwen decided that she’d take this destruction mission one step at a time.
Gwen’s goal has always been to burst Abigail’s perfect bubble before revealing who she really is and why she targeted her. Of course, Gwen expanded her mission as time went on. Although Gwen initially seemed to just have a vendetta against Abigail, it eventually became a beef with the whole Deveraux clan.
After Gwen takes Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to bed or at least makes it appear that she did, Abigail will fly into a rage. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will stand up to Gwen and wonder how she could betray her like this. Abigail thought they were friends!
Of course, that’d be the perfect time for Gwen to insist they’re not friends at all. Gwen might argue that they’re much closer than that – at least they would be if Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) had raised Gwen like he was supposed to.
This might be what sets up DOOL’s revelation that Gwen is Abigail’s half-sister and another biological daughter of Jack’s.
There’s no confirmation on this long-lost daughter connection, but it makes a ton of sense under the circumstances. Gwen has talked about facing some struggles in her past and seems jealous of the way Abigail was doted on.
When Abigail hired Gwen to be her nanny, Abby insisted everyone should treat Gwen like one of the family! There’s also been talk about how nice it can be to have a relationship with a loving father. Days has offered so many clues that point in the direction of Jack being Gwen’s bio dad.
That may be the bomb Gwen drops on Abigail in their upcoming confrontation. Abigail’s sure to be floored if Gwen admits they’re half-sisters – and Jack should be even more stunned if he indeed learns he’s Gwen’s father. A messy family reunion will probably erupt and bring some wild drama!
