Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) history as the necktie killer is always going to haunt him. DOOL fans know Ben took an incredibly dark turn before he got the help he needed. It’s true that Ben has changed, but he did some serious damage during his reign of terror.
Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) death was undone, but other deaths have stuck. JJ Deveraux (Casey Massey) once questioned Ben about whether Paige Larson (True O’Brien) was dead or alive, which led to Ben insisting she was “worm food” and laughing in JJ’s face.
It’s Paige we want to focus on since she’s the last huge mistake hanging over Ben. Of course, Ben also killed Serena Mason (Melissa Archer) and that poor midwife, Wendy Taylor (Denice Duff).
However, those deaths weren’t as important to the story and aren’t really acknowledged anymore. Paige’s death was a bigger deal since she had more characters who cared about her.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) is set to make a DOOL comeback. It looks like Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) will also return for some drama, so this is interesting. Eve and Eduardo were Paige’s parents, so keep that in mind.
Eve will seek revenge on Ben, which could involve a fake death scheme. Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eve will definitely make Ben suffer. That could easily involve chaining Ben up in a cabin or something alone those lines. Eve may want Ciara to mourn for Ben, but he could simply be Eve’s prisoner.
No matter how Eve chooses to torture Ben, it seems that’s exactly what she has in store for him. Eve has never truly been able to cope with the loss of Paige. Just when Eve thinks she’s come to grips with Paige’s death, all that anger and sorrow comes rushing back.
What if there’s a major twist brewing here? Could Paige be alive after all? That might be a good reason for Paige’s dad, Eduardo, to reenter the picture. It would also be the ideal way to cap off this revenge chaos. Eve might spend all this time tormenting Ben only to realize her daughter somehow survived!
Plus, DOOL writers seem a little obsessed with Ben’s redemption. It’s kind of a shame they’re determined to undo all the layers of Ben. Who Ben used to be is part of who he is now – at least it should be. That regret gives Ben depth and makes him someone we can root for.
We know Ben is deeply sorry, so there’s no need to go back and fix his mistakes – especially since Ben made them while he was mentally ill. Nevertheless, it’s totally a move Days of Our Lives would make. They want Ben to be seen as a hero, so they may rewrite it so Ben never killed Paige at all.
