Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will have some work to do after she returns to Salem. Once Gabi resurfaces starting November 27, she’ll find some big changes have gone down in her absence.
Of course, the biggest change of all involves Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) love life. Gabi won’t be pleased when she gets updates on Jake and Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) new romance. There’ll probably be a bedroom bombshell where Gabi fumes over Jake and Kate between the sheets.
That’s not a sight Gabi’s prepared to see, but she’ll have to get past the shock and focus on her reunion goal. Gabi pushed Jake away, so she can’t really blame him for moving on.
When Jake was hung up on Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), Gabi didn’t let that turn her off to pursuing Jake. Instead, Gabi just dismissed the competition and went after the man she wanted.
We have no doubt Gabi will use the same tactic this time, especially since Jake’s Kate fling is pretty new. Gabi will likely put her seduction skills to good use and win Jake over as soon as possible. Let’s face it: Jake is weak for women! He’ll be no match for Gabi once she gets his motor running again.
No matter how things play out with Kate or in this plot Gwen’s cooking up with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), Jake is destined to be with Gabi. Once Jake stops fighting fate and accepts he has to give Gabi a chance, Days of Our Lives can offer a real romance.
DOOL fans know Gabi and Jake had a connection before Gabi was forced to leave town. However, Jake and Gabi only had time for a hookup, not a real first date.
Although Gabi and Jake attended Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) wedding together, that doesn’t really count. That was back when they were still friends – and the nuptials were a total disaster anyway.
It’ll be fun when the time comes for Jake and Gabi to go on their true first date and hopefully kick off their future together. It’s easy to imagine Jake nervously bungling things a bit, but Gabi doesn’t mind that he’s nothing like his suave brother.
Gabi will always love Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but she’s put Stefan behind her – at least for now. Days could undo Stefan’s death and write him back in eventually, but Gabi will be all in on Jake and seeing where this leads in the meantime.
