Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will focus on a critical rescue. Lani suggested Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) might’ve taken off on her own, but DOOL fans know she was kidnapped. As Lani and Eli try to work out exactly what happened to Gabi, they’ll form an intriguing theory that ties in with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
Since Eli and Lani are great detectives, their theory should be pretty close to the truth. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani and Eli will head to the garage soon after. Jake will find himself cornered and grilled, so he may have to break down and offer answers.
If that’s the case, Jake will need to make it clear that the stakes are high. Gabi could die if “the family” finds out the cops are now involved.
However, Lani and Eli will be determined to bring Gabi home alive. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) just lost custody of David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends), so it’d be terrible if he had to grieve his sister’s death, too.
Fortunately, Gabi’s indeed going to survive this ordeal. Days spoilers say Eli and Lani will work together to figure out where the goons’ hideout might be.
It looks like Lani and Eli will have a separate mission going on while Jake, Ben Weston (Robert Scott) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) work on retrieving the valuable item.
That could be important since Jake will have to resort to a backup plan. After running into multiple snags, Jake will have to get creative – and that’s never a good idea during risky negotiations!
As for Gabi, she’ll worry this is the end of the road after her escape attempt fails. DOOL spoilers say Gabi will undoubtedly think of Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) in what she believes are her final moments. Jake and Ben will also get caught trying to trick Gabi’s captors, so this will be a bad situation all around.
Fortunately, that should be when Lani and Eli burst in with their guns drawn! Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be a major showdown that Eli and Lani take the lead on. They’ll be true heroes, so Lani will be partly responsible for rescuing Gabi. Perhaps this could be a step toward easing some of the terrible tension between them.
Lani shot Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and inadvertently led to his death, but now she’ll be helping to save Jake and Gabi’s lives. That should count for something, especially after Gabi’s revenge blackmail and everything she’s put Lani through.
Gabi and Lani are probably never going to be besties, but Gabi will likely have some words of gratitude to pass along.
