Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will have a time of reflection. On May 12, Will and Sonny will remember Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) on the anniversary of her death. Since Adrienne died on Mother’s Day, that lets us know May 12 will still be Mother’s Day in Salem.
Of course, the anniversary of the crash would be a good opportunity to reveal more about what actually went down. DOOL has intentionally left out some crucial puzzle pieces that’ll ultimately change the game. Let’s look at a hint Days Head Writer Ron Carlivati offered in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest.
Carlivati explained that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) has “taken responsibility and gone to prison, but Maggie really is at the lowest point you could imagine when the story takes an interesting twist and you realize there may be a little bit more to the story of what happened the night of the car crash.”
Between that and other hints that’ve been offered, it’s clear that Maggie isn’t to blame. Carlivati pointed to “another chapter of the story that has yet to roll out,” so there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Days of Our Lives spoilers say new time jump flashbacks are coming – and they’re undoubtedly ones that’ll exonerate Maggie.
It seems like a no-brainer for DOOL to reveal a twist on the anniversary of Adrienne’s death. However, if the truth doesn’t come out to fans then, it may later that week. On May 15, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Zoey Burge (Kelly Thiebaud) will spill Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox’s (Brock Kelly) secret to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). It looks like Orpheus (George DelHoyo) will be the reason why.
Orpheus will take matters into his own hands by kidnapping David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends). At that point, Zoey will start siding with Rafe and will try to help him out. Perhaps in an effort to prove she can be trusted, Zoey will rat out Evan and Orpheus for what they did.
Days viewers will recall that Evan shared his secret with Zoey offscreen. Evan assured Zoey it had nothing to do with David or Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) before dropping this bomb. Afterward, Evan explained to a horrified Zoey that Orpheus pressured him into this situation.
Was Orpheus behind the crash? Did Evan help his dad frame Maggie before Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) hijacked the plot? Orpheus felt like Evan owed him for having his back on the Jordan drama. One deadly cover-up deserves another!
More puzzle pieces should click into place soon, but this still seems like a reasonable way to go. Orpheus and Evan have a secret. There’s a secret still to be revealed about the crash. It makes sense that they might be the same secret, so this could certainly shake things up!
