Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a major revelation will soon rock Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). As viewers are aware, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) decided to run a secret DNA test to compare Tripp’s DNA with that of Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).
Steve is sure that his son is innocent where Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape allegation is concerned, and he thinks that a DNA test will clear everything up in a heartbeat.
The only problem here is that Days of Our Lives spoilers seem to indicate that the results will come back “proving” that Henry is Tripp’s son.
Specifically, Steve will be put in a position of choosing to take Tripp’s word despite the results of the test – and that certainly sound like those test results might come back saying that Tripp and Henry are definitely related, and that Tripp will continue to deny the rape allegation.
Well, since this is Salem, where DNA tests get tampered with right and left, we have to ask ourselves whether there’s a chance that Tripp and Henry’s paternity test results will be messed with by someone to make it look like Tripp is the father.
Last we saw Kayla, she was on her way to the hospital to drop off both Tripp’s and Henry’s samples for the test. And it looks from the latest Days of Our Lives promo that Kayla will encounter Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) while she’s there.
Now, Rolf is going to have his own agenda where Kayla is concerned, as he’ll want Kayla to become the surrogate to carry Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) cloned embryo to term.
Bottom line is that Kayla will end up unconscious and at Rolf’s mercy, and since Kayla could still have Tripp’s and Henry’s DNA samples in her possession, that leaves the possibility wide open that Rolf could somehow tamper with the samples or with the results.
But why would Rolf want to mess with Tripp and Henry’s paternity results? He doesn’t really know Tripp and Henry is just a newborn baby who Rolf presumably wouldn’t care about.
But what if Rolf decides to mess with the test as a way to get back at Tripp’s mom Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun)? Rolf is very much about revenge, and he might have a beef with Ava stemming from the time when she was his patient in the Nashville lab.
Days of Our Lives viewers will have to think far back, when Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) was trying to find her way out of the Nashville warehouse.
Nicole encountered a series of doors with various initials on them, one set of which was “A.V.” And since we know that Ava will be returning to Salem in the near future, that could mean that Ava escaped from Rolf’s clutches.
At any rate, there could be a reason why Rolf would want to hurt Ava, and he might do so by going after Tripp. Or Rolf might think that if Tripp gets into enough trouble, then Ava might come out of hiding. Rolf tends to work angles, so you never know why he’d do something like this.
We’ll see what happens here, but we wouldn’t put it past Rolf to tamper with the paternity test outcome for whatever reason he’s got. It certainly seems like he’ll have the opportunity to do so, and if he’s angry enough at Ava for whatever reason, then he’d have motive!
