Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, November 12 Recap - Philip’s Mystery Partner Appears - Lani Hears Eli Lied

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 12, reveals that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) was on the phone with his mystery partner in the Kiriakis living room as Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) was listening outside the door.

Philip told the mystery person that he’d get Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) off his back and that there was nothing to worry about.

Soon, Belle Black (Martha Madison) arrived to talk with Philip about his assault case. Belle said that she proposed a deal to the DA, and that Philip could plead guilty and only get probation.

Philip refused, saying he wanted to go to trial and clear his name. Belle said that it was up to Philip, but that they didn’t have a strong case.

After Belle took off, Philip gazed at a picture of her on his phone. “Get over it, Kiriakis, she’s gone,” Philip said to himself before going out for a run. Philip jogged through the park, and when he stopped to swig some water, someone was lurking behind him. Philip turned around and said, “You. What are you doing here?”

In the Titan CEO office, Xander concluded a call with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), upset because Victor believed Philip’s explanation for moving the funds around.

Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) arrived and Xander was bragging about how Sarah can’t get enough of him when Sarah walked in. Charlie took off, and Sarah said that she thought that Xander was right about Philip and that Philip had some secret agenda and was definitely hiding something.

Sarah and Xander went to Julie’s Place to continue their conversation. Sarah told Xander about overhearing Philip’s phone call with a mystery person last night, and about Philip being on another call with the person today.

Xander told Sarah about Philip moving funds around, and Sarah suggested that they try to get proof before they go to Victor. Sarah and Xander wondered who Philip was taking orders from on the phone.

In town square, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) fantasized about Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) walking in on Belle and Philip making out at the Salem PD. Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) walked up to Jan’s table and snapped Jan out of it, then she told Jan about her kiss with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and her weird interaction with Charlie last night.

Jan wanted to call Charlie and quiz him about what his deal was.

Claire said no way, because Charlie would think she’s a total freak. Just then, Charlie walked up and Jan questioned Charlie about why he blew Claire off last night, much to Claire’s chagrin.

Charlie said it was because Claire had kissed another guy and that he had seen it. “Boy, did you overreact. That was just Theo,” Jan blurted out. “Who’s Theo?” Charlie asked.

Jan got a phone call and left, and Claire explained to Charlie what happened with Theo and about how she really wanted to explore things with Charlie. Charlie understood, and he took Claire’s hand and said that this was where he wanted to be.

Charlie asked Claire to have dinner with him tonight, and Claire happily accepted.

At the Salem PD, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) overheard Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) on the phone with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and worried that Brady might be spilling the beans about how he had blackmailed Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

As it turned out, Lani and Brady were talking about how difficult it was for Rachel Black to separate from Kristen during their most recent prison visit. Eli was relieved.

Later, Shawn was in his office when Belle showed up and shared the good news that Philip took a plea deal and that she no longer needed to represent him.

Shawn was thrilled, and he apologized for doubting Belle when it came to Philip. Belle said that it was time to put those doubts to rest once and for all, and she got down on one knee to propose marriage to Shawn.

Belle said that their original wedding anniversary was coming up next week, and that they could make it official again. “Shawn Douglas Brady, will you marry me?” Belle asked. Shawn happily accepted, and he kissed Belle as Jan looked through the blinds into the office. Jan looked furious.

At the Brady Pub, Theo, Lani, and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) met ahead of Theo’s flight back to South Africa. Lani and Abe teased Theo about wanting to get back to his girlfriend, and off-screen Theo told them about his interaction with Claire last night.

Through their conversation, Lani referenced the recent troubles she and Eli had, and Abe looked uncomfortable and flashed back to when Eli told him about blackmailing Kristen.

Eli eventually came to the pub to see Theo off, and after Theo had gone, Lani went to the ladies’ room. When she returned, she overheard Eli tell Abe that in the future maybe he’d tell Lani what really happened, but that it was better to keep it on the down low for now. Lani looked shocked.
