Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) has a lot of problems these days. Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) allegation of rape against him has really thrown his world into a tailspin, and nobody but his dad Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) believes his account of events at this point.
Of course, it’s pretty hard for anyone besides Steve to believe Tripp when his DNA is a match for Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) DNA.
However, there is one other person who might be inclined to wholeheartedly believe that Tripp is telling the truth about not having raped Allie – and that’s Tripp’s mom, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
At present, Ava has seen Tripp in the park, but Tripp and everyone else is under the belief that Ava’s dead. Yet something tells us that when Ava learns about the allegation against Tripp, she’s going to make her presence known.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Tripp will soon be stunned to learn that Ava is alive. Might Ava secretly reach out to Tripp and tell him that she’s alive and that she’s here to help him through this terrible situation that he’s in?
Ava’s certainly a calculating person, and she could quickly figure out that she can work an angle here, since right now Steve is the only person who believes Tripp.
Ava might realize that she can quickly get into her son’s good graces if she offers him her full support. Plus, in talking with Tripp, Ava will probably learn that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) is firmly on Allie’s side of the dispute.
Kayla’s putting her faith in the DNA results that support Allie’s side of the story, and Ava will surely see the opportunity here…to use Tripp to drive a wedge between Steve and Kayla.
And since Ava is clearly still harboring feelings for Steve, she’ll probably want to use the Tripp situation to make sure that Steve and Kayla part ways…leaving her the perfect opportunity to swoop in and steal Ava’s heart.
Of course, Steve’s not going to just magically forget everything that Ava’s done, but in Ava’s warped mind, she’ll probably think that she can work on Steve to facilitate their big reunion.
In fact, Ava might try to enlist the help of Tripp in reaching her goal of getting back together with Steve. Now, under normal circumstances, Tripp probably would have nothing to do with trying to break up Steve and the love of his life.
But these won’t be normal circumstances by any means, since Tripp is very upset with Kayla for not believing him over Allie. And when Tripp is faced with his mother who is willing to believe him, he might just agree to help put an end to Steve and Kayla’s union.
We’ll see what happens here, but we suspect that Tripp may indeed go along with Ava’s plans, and she may do her share of manipulating of her son.
