Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, December 8, tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will enjoy another hot night with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), but their secret will lead to trouble. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will stop by the workshop eventually and call Jake out for lying.
Perhaps Jake will claim he’s been there alone before Chad discovers a piece of woman’s clothing that’s been left behind. Regardless, Chad will realize Jake’s had somebody in his bed, so he might ask if Jake and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) are going at it again.
Chad won’t want to let his mind drift to the worst-case scenario, but Jake will lead him there anyway. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will admit there’s someone else in the picture, so Chad will wonder who it is.
It looks like Jake will keep things cryptic, so Chad will fear that his nightmare has come true – that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is truly having an affair with Jake.
Meanwhile, Gwen will have a chat with Abigail in the park. Talk will ultimately turn to the person behind Abigail’s drugging – and she’ll suspect it might’ve been someone other than Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).
Gwen may try to convince Abigail that Gabi makes the most sense as the culprit, but Abby probably isn’t going to let this go. That means Gwen will have to work harder to make sure Abigail stays in the dark on her faux bestie’s plot.
Over with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), he’ll still be down in the dumps over his marriage issues. As Jack opens up to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) at the pub, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will saunter in and stir up more jealousy.
Days spoilers say Bonnie will offer updates on her recent evening with Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) and “those boys” who showed them a “real good time.”
Jack certainly won’t like the idea of Jennifer moving on or having steamy flings, so he’ll have to figure out a way to prove his love to Jennifer. The problem is Gwen will be there to sabotage any reunion chances.
After Jack spots Abigail in the park with Gwen, it’ll lead to another tender moment between them. DOOL fans know Jack and Abigail recently made amends, so they’ll be on good terms as Gwen watches them interact.
Gwen won’t be pleased when she sees a warm father-daughter hug, so that may be what causes her looming outburst.
On Tuesday’s episode, Days spoilers say Gwen will start smashing the nearby poinsettias with a bat – just in time for Jennifer to spot her.
That should leave Gwen with a lot of explaining to do once Wednesday rolls around, but Gwen has a knack for turning obstacles into new opportunities. It won’t be long until Gwen gets Jennifer in on the poinsettia-smashing party!
In the meantime, Abigail will head home and find Chad seething over his suspicions. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will demand to know if Abigail’s having an affair with Jake. That’s supposed to happen in Wednesday’s episode, but it sounds like one of Tuesday’s cliffhanger scenes could set it up.
Finally, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will pay Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) a visit and offer him the commissioner position. Now that Rafe’s back in Salem, Abe will think he’s the ideal candidate for the job.
Rafe will reclaim his old role and shake on becoming Commissioner Hernandez again, so Abe will be thrilled over this good news.
