Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 1, teases that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will feel like she’s getting everything she wanted. Claire was determined to score the maid of honor spot and get her friendship with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) back on track. Ciara and Claire will have a blast as they plan the “Cin” nuptials on Wednesday, so Claire will be overjoyed.
Unfortunately, Claire’s not always great at keeping negative opinions to herself. Once Ciara dons a wedding dress and suggests it’s ideal for the ceremony, Claire won’t seem so sure about that. It looks like Claire will be brutally honest, which could mean trashing the style and offering an alternative gown instead.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire’s comments will come back to haunt her! Ciara’s damaged wedding dress will bring questions and concerns about Claire’s mental state within the next couple episodes. DOOL fans can expect Claire to defend herself, but Ciara and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will still battle some worries.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) wedding day mayhem. Things have been going wrong right and left – and the chaos isn’t over yet! Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) just arrived and will threaten to kill Lani on Wednesday.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vivian will aim her gun and insist that Lani should die just like Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Since Lani’s pregnant, she might as well use that to her advantage. After Lani mentions her unborn baby, she’ll hope that might tug at Vivian’s heartstrings a bit. There’s surely a heart in there somewhere, right? However, Vivian won’t particularly care if Lani’s got a bun in the oven. Vivian lost her son, so she may even be glad that Lani stands to lose a child, too.
Of course, Days viewers know Lani already lost David A. Grant, her firstborn son with Eli. You can bet Eli will panic at the thought of Lani dying along with their impending bundle of joy. Thankfully, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will show up and derail Vivian’s vengeful plans. Days spoilers say Rafe will start off by distracting Vivian with some huge news.
Rafe will offer the scoop on Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and insist that Stefan may still be alive. That’ll give Vivian some hope, but Rafe will still wind up having to pry the gun out of her hand.
Once Vivian’s arrested, she’ll be taken down to the station and locked in the interrogation room. Vivian will likely request a meeting with Jake aka Stefan ASAP, so Rafe will see what he can do.
At the hospital, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will count on the DNA test results to prove what she knows in her heart. Gabi believes this is Stefan, but she should still be a bit nervous as she awaits this important envelope. The same goes for Jake, who’ll be there arguing and waiting alongside Gabi.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the moment of truth will eventually arrive, so Jake will wonder about the outcome. Although DOOL may not reveal that just yet, Gabi might glare at Jake in shock just before the episode ends.
Thursday’s Days spoilers say Jake and Gabi will be left reeling over the DNA updates, so it sounds like Gabi will get confirmation that this is her previously dead husband.
Until then, we should get back to Lani and Eli’s wedding. Lani will be exhausted after dealing with so much drama, but the guests will think they might as well finish the ceremony. Eli and Lani have come too far to back out now!
Besides, Lani truly wants to marry Eli – and he feels the same way. Eli won’t put any pressure on Lani, but he’ll fully support her decision if she wants to continue. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will go along with the idea, so Marlena will guide them through the last steps toward tying the knot.
Lani and Eli will finally be pronounced husband and wife, so that’s a relief! Afterward, Eli and Lani will jump the broom to honor their heritage. That’ll certainly bring a special moment for the happy couple. As other Days news and updates emerge, we’ll fill you in on the latest details.
