Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of August 31-September 4 teases that some bombs are set to drop in Salem. For starters, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) faceoff will get nasty.
Philip loves to take jabs about how Xander used to be the gardener, so he’ll take another one in the week ahead. When Philip contends that Xander should just go back to spreading manure, this confrontation will turn violent.
Xander will head butt Philip and most likely get a punch thrown back at him. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will probably have to send the boys back to their corners.
As for the title of CEO, Victor will struggle to settle on just one Kiriakis. Victor wants to make amends with Philip and keep him around, but he doesn’t want to hurt Xander. The only solution Victor will see is to just make them co-CEOs.
That decision will bring disappointment on both sides, but Xander will be truly outraged. Of course, Philip might feel confident that he can outshine and outmaneuver Xander.
He may not sweat this arrangement since he’ll believe it’s temporary. Nevertheless, Philip needs to watch his back. Xander will resort to some dirty tactics, so there may be another Titan shakeup eventually.
In the meantime, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will agree to watch Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) daughter. DOOL fans know Kristen has a baby girl with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), so they’ve been caring for Rachel DiMera Black on the run together.
However, Kristen will take a huge risk by following Brady back to Salem – and Lani will take one of her own by helping her fugitive friend.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will flip out when he comes home to find Lani babysitting Rachel. Once Eli takes in the scene, he’ll demand to know what Lani’s doing with Kristen’s child. Lani will have some explaining to do, but it all boils down to one thing: Kristen is Lani’s pal and that means helping her no matter what.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will raise suspicions. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will have a hunch that Sami’s up to something. Isn’t she always?! Sami will indeed have one last shocker in store at the custody hearing, so get ready for a big return.
An old enemy of Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) will pop back up next week. It’ll be Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) who returns to sink Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) with a murder accusation.
Since Sami can’t prove Nicole killed Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry), she’ll insist Nicole conspired to kill Victor with Jan. That’s true, for the record.
Nicole’s case will suddenly tank hard, so we’ll see if she’s able to come back from this. With Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) as Nicole and Eric’s lousy lawyer, the odds aren’t in their favor.
As for Jan, she’ll bump into Shawn and Belle after the custody hearing. Belle and Shawn certainly won’t be happy to see Jan, who’s done some truly horrible things to them in the past.
At the Salem PD, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) still won’t be able to recall the final moments before Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) went missing. Shawn will make it clear that if Ben did anything to his sister, Ben’s life is over. T
here’ll be major tension, but none of this is Ben’s fault. Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) and Vincent (Michael Teh) are the ones who brainwashed Ben into trying to kill Ciara.
Thankfully, Ben didn’t succeed – and he’ll know that for sure after a session with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marlena will take Ben back to that troubling dorm encounter.
Ben will admit he remembers everything, but there’ll be one detail that’s especially important. That might involve Vincent kidnapping Ciara and forcing her into captivity.
