Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is bound to cause big problems for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). It’s clear that Gwen and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) have a complicated relationship. In fact, it’s quite reminiscent of Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) romance with Gabi – and that’s undoubtedly by design.
Gabi had a love-hate relationship with Stefan early on. Likewise, Gwen simultaneously hates and loves Jake. DOOL fans know Gwen stole Jake’s stuff after their massive fight and was willing to check herself into a mental institution to hide out from him.
Nevertheless, Gwen cares about Jake. Her reaction to all that Stefan talk showed us Gwen was still a bit territorial.
Of course, Gabi’s territorial as well since she’s convinced Jake is actually Stefan. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will try to prove that with a DNA test, so we’ll see if the results confirm her suspicions. Regardless, this may turn into a full-fledged love triangle.
Even if Gabi gets confirmation that Jake is Stefan, his feelings for Gwen aren’t going away. Gwen herself isn’t going away either since O’Brien was still filming new scenes before Days suspended production.
With that in mind, Gwen could be a far bigger threat to “Stabi” than she previously seemed to be.
Gwen faked a breakdown to land at Bayview, so she’s quite the schemer. What kind of plot will Gwen try next? Maybe there’s something else Gwen could fake – in hopes of keeping Jake instead of hiding out this time.
Days spoilers point to Jake potentially caving in and giving his romance with Gabi another chance. That might come due to Gabi’s DNA proof. Gabi and Jake will be at Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) wedding together, so Gwen could easily be the one who targets the ceremony.
This woman is wild and volatile, so don’t be surprised by more scheming.
However, we’ve established that Gwen can hate Jake one minute and want him back the next. Gabi’s interest in Jake aka Stefan is only going to make Gwen more determined to be with him. That could spell trouble since we all know how far DOOL characters will go to get what they want.
Jake obviously struggles to resist Gwen – just like Stefan struggled to resist Gabi. It’s easy to imagine Gwen seducing Jake and landing in bed with him. Whether that happens before or after Jake gives Gabi a shot, it’s bound to string. A hookup could also give Gwen the opportunity to hit Gabi where it hurts.
Gabi can’t have more children, so that might be something Gwen uses against her. Could Gwen get pregnant by Jake aka Stefan – or at least fake a pregnancy? If Gwen would fake a breakdown, she’d fake a baby! We wouldn’t put anything past this chick.
