General Hospital Spoilers: 6 Thanksgiving Surprises – Unexpected Return, Explosive Deaths & Injuries and Heroic Efforts

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Halloween is over, which means it’s time to start looking forward to the next major holiday in Port Charles: Thanksgiving. GH will celebrate this day of gratitude a little late on November 30, but it’ll be worth the wait! We’ve got a preview of all the action, so here are six Thanksgiving surprises to look forward to.

1) Olivia’s total freedom

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will find herself in an unusual position as she works to create the perfect Thanksgiving meal for the Quartermaine clan. General Hospital spoilers say Olivia will have total freedom in the kitchen! It’ll be a rare occurrence at the Quartermaine mansion, but Olivia will hope to make the most of it.

Olivia will plan a lovely traditional feast with all the trimmings, but this isn’t GH fans first rodeo. We all know there’s bound to be some disaster that prevents this dinner from being served, which means pizza once again for the Quartermaines.

2) Ava’s happy family dream

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will fret over her messy relationship with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and finally admit to herself that her dream is to have a happy family with him.

Ava will hope for more tender moments with Nikolas and Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) – like they all had that night at the cabin. However, Ava will have her doubts about whether that dream can be a reality!

3) Thankfulness despite pre-Thanksgiving horror

Of course, General Hospital spoilers say Thanksgiving will happen after the upcoming explosion in Port Charles. The Floating Rib will face quite a blast, so several lives will be at stake. It could lead to some empty chairs at Thanksgiving tables this year – either due to deaths or patients still stuck at the hospital.

Even so, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will urge everyone to press on and be thankful. GH fans can expect a powerful speech from Monica about the importance of counting their blessings on Thanksgiving. There are always going to be struggles, but Monica will hope they can remember what this day’s all about anyway.

4) Carly and Sam bond

For whatever reason, General Hospital spoilers usually try to act like there’s some sort of nasty feud between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). There really isn’t, so it’s strange for GH to release info that act like it’s some sort of miracle when they bond.

Nevertheless, it’ll be nice to see Sam and Carly come together for Thanksgiving peace anyway. Carly and Sam will connect over loving complicated men as well as having to play supportive roles.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will definitely need to lean on Carly and Sam by the time Thanksgiving arrives, but Sam and Carly will be glad to step up for them.

5) Brando is there for Sasha

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is another character who’ll find herself in need of support on Thanksgiving. The holiday should be a lonely one for Sasha – that is until Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) comes along as her hero. Brando will put his undercover mission in jeopardy by being there for Sasha in her time of crisis.

6) Unexpected guest shakes things up

General Hospital spoilers say an unexpected guest will shake things up before Thanksgiving winds down. Could that be Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott)? We’ve heard a tons of Tracy name-dropping on GH lately, so it’s possible she’ll be the special arrival that caps off the celebration.
