General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Cassadine (Maura West) could find herself battling major jealousy – and we’re not talking about anything related to her marriage! GH fans know Ava and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are on better terms these days. Friendship might be pushing it, but Nina and Ava have found a place of peace and have become allies in a way.
However, trouble could be on the horizon thanks to Nina’s biological daughter, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). General Hospital viewers are in the loop on this bio daughter bomb, but Nina and Nelle aren’t aware of their connection just yet.
Of course, that’ll change down the road. Nelle and Nina will find out they’re family – and so will the rest of Port Charles.
How will Ava feel about Nina suddenly getting a long-lost daughter? Ava has a complicated history with Nelle and knows how she operates. Although part of Ava may worry Nelle will bring pain and disaster to Nina’s life, another part of Ava may be a bit jealous.
Ava certainly won’t want a nightmare like Nelle for a daughter, but this could leave Ava wishing she was getting her own grown daughter back. Ava still has Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), but there’s a huge hole in her heart where Kiki used to be. Things just haven’t been the same for Ava since Kiki was murdered.
Ava longs to reconnect with Kiki and have one last chance to make amends. Watching Nina and Nelle’s growing bond is only going to make Ava miss Kiki more. It could leave Ava bitter about a terrible daughter like Nelle manipulating Nina while her sweet Kiki’s gone forever.
Naturally, Ava’s feelings about all this would be a great way to set up Kiki’s return from the “dead.” General Hospital could use a few easy rewrites to make Kiki part of the action once again.
It’s just a matter of whether they want to bring the character back on canvas or not. That door’s never really closed in the land of soaps, where wild plot twists happen frequently.
Perhaps Ava will still get her wish one day, but for now she may be one jealous woman as Nina and Nelle’s relationship thrives. Nelle will inevitably screw this up at some point though, so General Hospital spoilers say hot drama should be brewing once new episodes return.
